What's new

College Basketball '14-15......

At Colorado for having one of their players go down? Not at all. It happens. And it also does tend to impact the game when that happens too. Crazy how that works. So when there is scoring gap that looks outs of sorts, there's usually a good reason.

But look, if we just want to unite as college basketball fans and agree that the Pac 12 is probably vastly overrated this year, liked every year, let's do it. Why is Utah blowing out Pac 12 teams the similarly to what they did against Carrol College? You tell me.

And please, let's have this convo once you actually play some road games too. The Utah is a top 10 team fantasy is going to collapse very soon. So prance around for a few more days. You guys will make the tourney like I said in my first post. Let that be enough.

I liked this part.

Just looking at the highlights on ESPN.com..... Colorado had one of their best players go down about 8 minutes in and never came back with Colorado up 12-8. That probably didn't help.
So? Utah had their 2nd best player miss a month and barely lost to Kansas in Kansas. Colorado was overrated to start the year but Utah is making the pac-12 look like a joke. I'm loving this season and having BYU lose at home to Pepperdine is hilarious.

Colorado was up 12-8, that player goes down, and they get blown out. That's all I know. I sure as hell wasn't watching. I like Pac football, not basketball. We're talking about one game. One inflection point. It's a lot different going into a game thinking you have a player available and then losing him early and having to adjust than just planning to be without a guy. And Pepperdine is 10-5. Big whoop. They're solid. They are the second best defense against 3's in the country and shot the **** out of the ball. Great game from them. BYU lost to worse teams last year and they'll lose games that they should win this year again. And still easily make the tourney - which is all that matters. Let's just all hope Utah doesn't meet St Marys in the post season again.

it just keeps getting better!

That's what you all said last year too at the end of the year..... Selection Sunday. I should bump that topic. BYU was sitting there at like 33 RPI, a great strength of schedule, and everybody on this board was like....oh no way they are getting in. It made no sense. And it still doesn't. They've got 2 more games left that they can lose that they shouldn't. Anybody not named Gonzaga or St. Marys.

Wasn't Marty Wilson(Pepperdine head coach) a Ute? You guys should be like....of course they beat BYU. Marty Wilson, baby. Pepperdine should be your #2 team because of that.

Hey like most WCC teams I'm sure their gym holds almost 5K fans to watch the game though. :)

If they can't recruit decent talent to that place....,,,

LOGAN — After 17 seasons coaching in Cache Valley, Utah State head coach Stew Morrill is calling it a career.

USU announced in an on-campus press conference Friday that Morrill, a Provo native, will retire at the end of the 2014-15 season. Utah State athletic director Scott Barnes and USU president Stan Albrecht will conduct a national coaching search to find his replacement in the coming months.

That sucks. Second best coach ever to come out of mighty Provo High School. Whoever is responsible for big man development at Utah State, if it's not Morrill, deserves a promotion to BYU's bench. Utah State finds and develops post gems constantly.

Ohio State is -2 against Indiana. Buckeyes cover.
UK is -13.5 against Texas A&M. Cats cover.
UNC is -5 against Louisville. Bet the Cards.

UK - 82
aTm - 62

What happened to Marcus Paige? He had a nice jump from year 1 to 2 stats wise and then looks very....well....Trey Burke right now.

C'mon Aggies!

Just tuned in during double OT. First thing I saw was a whining Harrison sitting on the bench. Can't make this stuff up.

What a finish in the north Carolina vs Louisville game
