Following potential 2015 draftees

What the Jazz need are players who are effective off the ball. Burke, Burks, Exum, Hayward are all in love with the ball and Kanter getts his fair share of post ups as well. So someone with Kyle Korver skills wouldn't be too bad. Alternatively you trade one or more of the ball handlers.
Spacing is an issue as well.

How's Booker's defense on the perimeter? Nic Stauskas and Doug McDermott want to know...

Better. He has been a very nice surprise on the defensive end. He will also be expanding his game right about now.
Shooting 76% from 3 in his last 8 games, though.

Devin Booker ain't ever going to be a good defensive player. May be if he guarded slower PGs with Exum on the SG. Needs to assist more, too. That shooting touch, doe.

So the Jazz are now 13-26.........which is exactly the same record they had after 39 games last year.

This is a remarkable feat when you consider how much Hayward, Favors, Kanter and Gobert have improved from last year. The reason we're able to stay in the lottery (now tied for 5th/6th) is because the bench was made thin and has now been depleted to nothing by injuries.

Who exactly are thbese slower PGs. I am truly curious about that one.

I think the West being even deeper and the East tanking a little bit less might have been an influence as well.

Keep an eye out for Devin Booker - he's a sleeper in this draft.

You heard it here first.

I think he has been pimped plenty times.
But for you we can make it "first".

Every skilled basketball player has a chance to become an impact player.

Improvement for those players. But Marvin was every bit the player Booker is. He provided more spacing and pretty solid defense. Ingles/Hood was not even close to what Jefferson gave Utah. And Diante Garrett was more effective than Dante has been.

I'm too lazy to look up stats, but just from watching games, this year the jazz are at least competitive. Utah is generally hanging with other teams, even the best ones. And you can put a finger on why we haven't won more: turnovers and poor 3PT shooting.

Winslow has only made 4 two-point jumpers all season (13.8% shooting).

Compare that to Johnson's 27 made two-point jumpers (52.9% shooting).

That's a drastic difference. There's obviously things Winslow is better at, but this shows the type of scoring limitations Winslow has.

I'm not sure why all the mocks have Winslow listed first in that group of SF and SGs. If we get any of those guys I think I'd be happy.

Actually nevermind... Draftexpress updated their top 100 and it goes Mario, Johnson, then Winslow... interesting.

Cy's boy jumped into the top 4...
