Following potential 2015 draftees

Watching the Ark-UF game. Really like Bobby Portis. Really smooth and long. Think he could maybe evolve into a better shooting Lamar Odom.

17.5 pts, 8.5 rebounds for year. 7'1.5" wingspan and 8'11" standing reach.

I am watching Kansas... Oubre actually looks good. Really good passes into the post...

With Exum now starting, do you see this as a trial and Burke will move back as a starter sometime this season or is this a permanent transition for Exum to grow and learn as a Starter and Burke to move to the role of permanent backup PG?

Chad Ford (1:10 PM)

Exum is their point guard of the future. I think everyone on the Jazz understand that. With no chance of making the playoffs this year, I think it's valuable to give him some confidence and more meaningful minutes. The Jazz are taking a long-term approach with him and Rudy Gobert. The truth is that a combo of Exum, Gobert, Hayward and Favors -- if they all live up to their potential -- could be title contenders some day. They want Exum getting that experience now and one more pick to give them an elite two guard could put them over the top. I'd love to see Ohio State's D'Angelo Russell on this team.

That chat was a Russell love fest... I don't know if I'm going crazy but I don't see how he's not the first or second pick.

Teams fall in love with upside bigs and long, athletic guys. Normally the top combo guards fall to #3 or so--Beal, Roy, Harden, Tyreke, etc.

Dude is money with the shot. He's not as mobile as Odom, and will probably never be all that great at defense despite his reach, but he could be a nice perimeter big that opens up the floor. He looks like he'd fit well in any offensive system.

The Jazz tend to get players with similar names to the guys they already have...

Malone/Malone
Williams/Williams/Williams
Jefferson/Jefferson
Burke/Burks

I'm starting to think this bodes well for Devin Booker. He'd be a good complement for the players we already have.

I think Mudiay will be the combo guard that falls and Russell is the kyrie Irving. I've never been much of an Okafor fan... Especially with our bigs. If the jazz landed number one I'd be hoping for Russ.

My left nut is already promised for us drafting Ben Simmons, so now I am considering if I'd be willing to give up the other one for Russell...

The modern NBA is well suited for guys like Russell. The guys Russell gets compared to, Curry and Harden, are both top-5 MVP candidates. I could see Russell going 2nd.

I think he's a longer better passing Kyrie.

Kyrie had sick handle coming into the league. I don't think Russell is anywhere near that level... Kyrie is also elite finisher around the rim, I am still not sure Russell has that in him right now. On a more positive side - Russell is nowhere near as selfish as Kyrie.

Towns bringing it tonight.

After the 1Q. 4/4 with a block, assist, and steal,, and 2/2 FT. (10pts in 5 minutes of play)
Two running hooks, a baseline jumper, and a perimeter move to a finger roll at the rim.
