Well because he has a cocky demeanor that might make him want to play in a bigger market. However, now that the last wave of CP3s, DWills, Carmellos and Amares have seen how hard it is to win, even in bigger markets, they'll stay with whatever program helps them win.

I wouldn't say that. Confident, not cocky. At least, based on the interviews I've seen with him. He's a good teammate and leader. I don't see a diva attitude.

By all the accounts that I've read he is a great dude. These guys have to have supreme confidence... he is 18 and is dominating college basketball.
Russell's demeanor reminds me a bit of Chris Paul in college. The guy knows he's good and that he should be a star.
Whether that means he wants to be in a big market like CP3 ultimately did is another question. Russell Westbrook is cocky, but he likes OKC.

I don't think CP3 wanted to be in a big market as much as he wanted to play with another star.
I would LOVE to see the combo doing the same thing in Jazz unis next year.

Russell is good no doubt but the surest thing in this draft is Okafor and that is it. The rest are a crap shoot like it usually is.

CP3 demanded a trade, and the only destinations where he'd sign an extension were New York and LA. Dwight Howard basically did the same thing.
He's a stretch big like Dirk Nowitzki. Look at Dirk's rebounding averages and you'll get the idea.
Dirk is averaging about 6 boards/game this year, though his career average is 8.
