It's funny that you mention that. I just watched Exum's post-game interview here: https://on.nba.com/1qjjmA0 and he mentioned that he likes having the ball in his hands more. I don't know if that was a swipe at Trey specifically, but I get the sense he wasn't happy with not being the primary...
I'm not saying that you're not right. I'd rather the Jazz take a risk on a guy like Stephenson, but I've just followed the Jazz too long to see them changing too much.
After watching Quin's post-game interview last night, I think it is conditioning more than anything. He mentioned how tired Dante is. Dante should honestly get back to Salt Lake as soon as possible and start endurance training in the right altitude.
Whether you're fed up with the story or not, it's true. The Jazz have ALWAYS been this way. Being a small market and a not a prime destination for free agents gives the Jazz a much smaller margin for error. It's unfortunate, but a fact of life.
The Jazz organization has always held players to a higher standard than many other NBA teams. Players like Stephenson who have had issues off the court as well as on the court are a huge red flag to owners like the Miller's. Even if Lance would have been willing to sign with the Jazz (He...
My apologies for getting back on topic, but any theories why Exum has virtually disappeared the last two games? I realize that it's only summer league, and his conditioning is poor, but even early in the game tonight he was rather passive. He is a much better player when he attacks. I just...
I'm not sure of his real value as I've not seen him play much, but according to Locke's free agent spreadsheet he is the cheapest PF signed so far this summer.
Is that what fun sounds like? I realize it's only summer league but I'd rather they call the game instead of going off long uninteresting tangents and giggling like school girls at each other's unfunny jokes.
I've been reading the Reddit thread on this signing. The Wizards' fans are really disappointed they are losing him. That's a nice thing to see after seeing all the thank you posts there last year when the Jazz took on all of Golden State's castoffs. I realize this isn't the same thing, but...
I agree. I thought that him waiting for Exum after he was drafted to congratulate him was a really professional thing for him to do. He has conducted himself very well as of late. I just hope he improves over last year.
The thing I like most about Hood is he looks like a pure shooter. He has great form and rotation and gets the shot off relatively quick. He is one of those guys that I think every shot is going to go in just based on how he looks shooting it.
Free agent forward Trevor Booker has reached a deal with the Utah Jazz, league source tells Yahoo.

It wasn't a good game to watch overall, but mainly because the refs wouldn't stop blowing their whistles on what seemed like every play. I think it took both teams out of their limited offensive flow.
Well if that's the case, I can see Exum being a real force in this league. His ability to change speeds and his court vision are really special from the little I've seen of him.
It looks like Exum has some elite skills, but I too am concerned about his loose handle. It's worse that he keeps it so high. I know he is really young, but I can't remember a player come into the NBA and improve their dribble by that much. I think NBA caliber point guards are going to have a...
People are being presumptuous that he would even go to Utah. Why are so many Jazz fans unable to see that quality FA's don't want to play there. Especially not when the team is that far removed from playoff caliber.
