My unhealthy love for Brice Sensibaugh…

my favorite thing about Brice is the same as it’s been since we drafted him: the dude doesn’t appear to have a favorite place on the court. He can get a bucket from anywhere. I particularly like his midrange skills along the baseline.

Dent’s pace and arsenal of floaters reminds me of Conley. Really impressed with how well Wolf moves his feet.

When we drafted Keyonte, I never thought he'd end up the lead guard/playmaker. I think he'd thrive in a system where he's a secondary playmaker/scorer. Basically, he'd be better off if someone else created an initial advantage that he could exploit with a drive, pass, or shot.

putting him at ~7 in a deep draft isn't much of a knock on his skills. I'd be waaay more down with him if I could evaluate his playmaking skills. The big problem is that there isn't much data to evaluate. Dude can definitely make shots, though.

yeah, the tunnel vision that dude has... it's next-level. I can think of at least 6 or 7 other players I'd rather have.

The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

There's a special catharsis that any jazz fan from the last 6-7 years must feel whenever they watch a Dyson Daniels defensive highlight reel. I love that this guy is named after a vaccuum.

What is going on with Collier?

I still think Collier is going to figure it out and be good.

I've always been a fan of Fox. How about we nab a top-2 pick this year, then trade away most of our remaining haul and roll with Lauri-Fox-Flagg/Harper?

Should the NBA abolish the 3 point line?

I've been saying that the court needs to be widened and that the 3pt line moved back for almost a decade. It's painfully obvious. There is — and there always will be — a threshold beyond which the analytics that support volume 3-point shooting will tip back in favor of more 2s / fewer 3s. And...

    2024-25 Trade Rumors Thread

This isn't a reply to TJW. It's just a comment. Relative to my former life, over the past three years, I've basically stopped watching sports. From this new perspective, I just want to point out that when a man in his 30s or 40s has some intense feelings about a sports rivalry.... that's a bad...

I'm a big fan. This dude understands space and timing, and he ****ing sees the floor. Dream draft: we somehow end up with Flagg and Kasparas.

Not gonna lie, I'm starting to sweat it with Cody. I usually have no problem giving rookies an enormous amount of slack...... but sheesh.

The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

It's even worse than that. The fans in OKC inherited a team that already had KD and Westbrook in one of the messiest relocations in NBA history. They drafted Harden in the first offseason, iirc.

The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

It's always been supremely easy for me to dislike the Thunder, but this current version is rapidly changing my mind. As a "defense-first guy", I think they're one of the most entertaining teams in the last decade. I hope they win the 'chip.
