Burke and McCollum are two different type of players with differing skillset. McCollum has the size and shooting ability to be a pure scorer in the league. Trey had to be a true PG in order to live up to his full potential. Clearly what Portland needs is a pure scorer and not a true PG seeing...

If you remove his two half court heaves Trey numbers are 53%fg 40%3pt 100%ft. It's four games in, but that's damn good.

Too much is being made about the lack of assist. Guys have to take and make shots. Favors missed a lot of elbow jumpers. Booker missed a few chances to complete an assist. Burks doesn't take 3's when it's kick out to him he rather drive. Hayward been off all season and Hood was off that game.

I have no idea why fans panic on a game to game basis. There's 82 games some player will get insanely hot(ie Lillard and McCollum) and win games. Unless you expected to win 70+ games this season there's nothing to worry about 4 games in.

Yeah I suggested this before. If Bird decides to blow things up and rebuild around George I can see him doing a Burke/Lyles future pick deal for Hill. I think Larry would love Trey's(Burke that is) personality and Lyles would allow Paul to go back to playing the 3.

Plus or minus on a one game basis isn't really a good stat to measure impact by a player. Especially considering Neto starts so most of his mins are with the better players.
