Part of it could be his volleyball training. In blocking drills you jump off both feet to limit drift in the air in order to prevent coming down on someones foot.
I really liked Hood's jab step. Very effective at clearing space and he has the speed to drive so it keeps it a real threat. Couple that with his size and shooting ability and he will be a pain to guard.
What impressed me most about Gobert is he is in much better shape. He would get winded quickly last year. This game he was ready to go 40 min. or more.
