I'm of the opinion Hayward is worth no more then 11. If I'm going to trade him I'm going for defense, I'm going for Embiid. That brings up a question. How many points do you think Parker averages in the NBA?
I'm willing to give Hayward some time. Besides Aaron Harrison is shooting under 40% FG and 24% from 3. I'll make up my mind in March though. I'm sure the Jazz FO will keep all options open to improve this team.
I'm almost convinced that after #10 in a draft you should draft players that can play, not on potential. So maybe pick Parker/McDermott. Although they probably play the same position, but that's just an example.
It seems the Jazz should be able find out if Kanter and Favors have any defensive potential. Right now Favors yes, Kanter no. We shall see throughout the season if Kanter can play any defense.
I agree with PKM perennial DPOY. I would trade a combo of Kanter, Burks, Burke, and any future draft pick to get it done. I wouldn't trade Favors or Hayward.
The problem moving up in this years draft is there is so much talent most teams will be perfectly happy taking the player that "falls" to them. It would have to be the perfect match for someone to make a move. I would love Embiid and Favors playing D on this team.
Well, would this starting 5 be a championship caliber starting lineup in 2 years?
Rondo
Hayward
Parker or Wiggins
Favors
Kanter
If so, giving up picks is worth it. Question I have is, is Rondo every going to be healthy. He has averaged 53 games played per year the last 3 years.
Paying all of...
Green
Do you still feel Kanter is the one to build around? I've always believed Favors was the one of the two that I wanted to breakout, but that was because of his defensive potential more then anything. Seems like DL was just a year off from doing this posts premise.
