    SPORCLE - Utah Jazz

    48. Missed Poquette and Jefferson. Trying to block out the Corbin years. Poquette never even crossed my mind

For real doe... It should probably be Randle

Randal was right up there as the big three in college basketball started. I don't follow College at all even in March. So what happened between November and May to make people cringe worthy about taking him at 5?

    A trade is brewing...

What if Cleveland comes along offers us Irving for our first and Burke?

J-Slo and getting the most out of talent

Add Blue Edwards to the list.

Is Mark Jackson a good fit for the Jazz?

He's not a bad coach, but it would be a lot more difficult here than GS. "Hey Steph go out and win the game." isn't an option in Utah

How amazing of a coach was Jerry Sloan? He turned tin cans into gold....

Shandon Anderson, John Crotty, Howard Eisley, Blue Edwards, the list goes on and on. He took below average talent, and got the most out of them. Danny Manning's year with the Jazz landed him a decent deal in Dallas when he had no knees.

Jazz fanz - rejoice!!! (re: Boozer)

It may not be a popular opinion around here, but game 7 at Houston he had 35 and 14. When he wanted to, he was a great player under Sloan offense.

    Ettore Messina or John Stockton?

The Idea of Stockton is better than him actually coaching. What happens if he does a bad job? I know I use to enjoy the Milkman Ty Corbin as a player, but he stunk as a coach, and I found myself not liking him. What if the franchise has to fire Stockton? It's better to leave Stockton as the...

    Science vs. Creationism

Congrats to the four people who kept this thread going. At what point will these four give up? This is going to keep the off-season interesting enough for me to keep coming back to Jazzfanz.

This guy makes the site worse. I don't know how he's allowed to continue to post.

***Official new head coach search thread*** (merged)

Spence Checketts just tweeted that Jim Boylen was the "clear" front runner. I know Spence a little bit from interning at Real Salt Lake in 2005. He is pretty tapped into some good sources, so I tend to believe him.

Yeah he was horrible as a college head coach... Don't know how he's done since he's been fire.

I like Kevin Ollie. Not many people have the stones to take over for the man, but he did just that and succeeded at Ucon after Jim Calhoun retired.

OFFICIAL: Utah Jazz will not offer Ty Corbin a new contract

Former Ute coach Jim Boylen the first name thrown out there. LOL

    Who you cheering for?

Would that team of former Jazz men if all playing together be a championship contender?

    1280 zone NOW!

Yeah Kanter may have just wrote his ticket to a new team. It was honest and very refreshing, but DL may not have enjoyed that.

Locker room clean out day the 2014 edition

Jody Gennesy really is not very helpful when it comes to Jazz coverage. His last tweet was about Jeremy painting a picture while dunking.

    Hayward or Kanter

It all depends on which coach comes in. If they are an inside out coach I think both Kanter and Favors has a role on the team. If it's a spread them out run and gun, Kanter may have to go. I will say Gobert needs to be the backup 5. He's too good to get DNP's next year. Get some lower body...
