Kentucky coach John Calipari discusses Turkish center Enes Kanter.

Man, a player with Kanter's size and touch is so tempting, but his defense looked atrocious in the Givony high school videos. I'm torn, honestly, because I hated watching uninspired and just plain bad defense for so many years with Booze and Okur, but if this guy can be a dominant shot maker...

If Irving and Kanter are gone & we're on the clock...

Jazz could try to take Williams at SF, but the consensus is that he's a PF (four). He would be the perceived BPA, but I'm still not sold on his game translating to the NBA. He or Millsap would then have to be moved ASAP.

    Locke's Draft Scouting Videos

I like that the dude puts forth effort and sticks his neck out. I crave Jazz info, and the guy supplies it. I have a built-in BS alarm and Locke doesn't set it off as much as the rest of the local radio personalities do.

Enes Kanter hasn't helped his draft stock

I'm not sold on him either. All of these guys are incomplete, but that's what we're stuck with. The lesser of the evils might just be Brandon Slight.

Enes Kanter hasn't helped his draft stock

I watched the vids posted by Givony, and I have to say that Kanter looked pretty bad on defense. If Jazz fans disliked Boozer for his defensive deficiencies, then Kanter’s defense will be shredded to pieces by both fans and opponents alike. The effort was so bad, I don’t think I could ever...

    2011 draft.....

I agree, but patience needs to win out. The best player available (whomever that ends up being in KOC's mind) has to be the focus every draft. Another stud PG would be great, but so would a stud C or SF. Emphasis on the word "stud".

Jazz trying to get an interview with Derrick Williams

Maybe if they supply the donuts...

This is the MAN we need at #3 - C Jonas Valanciunas

You can't teach height, and it looks like the kid busts his *** on both ends. On the defensive end, Jazz fans have been watching disinterested/uninspired forwards and centers for too long, so this JV seems to be getting people excited.

    My hope for future lineup

I wonder who the top white-guy prospects are in next year's draft? They're sure to be Jazzmen.

    2011 draft.....

I liked the interview overall, but what was up with him talking about his hips so much? He also mentioned in 5 years he just hopes he's not injured - huh?

Biymbo and Burks won't be there, so Faried and Singleton.

    dwill 2.0 is no dwill

Didn't he have 10% body fat? Maybe Donut Williams.

If we get a shooting guard at 12 - PICK Thompson

I like him fine. Will the Jazz "risk" taking a druggie? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ryNENiY40Q

    2011 draft.....

Singleton won't be the main go-to guy on the Jazz. If he can be a Tony Allen or Battier type, then I'd be OK with that. Heaven knows we don't need another chucker. Unfortunately, KOC likes offensively skilled guys, so the Ibakas will always be passed over for the Koufos's every single year.

    2011 draft.....

Singleton, Thompson and Hamilton could be great options at 12. Looks like Knight is the guy by default.

Kanter stood up Toronto, Milwaukee, and Utah for Interviews

He is a polished offensive player. No defense. I agree with his agent.

    Utah Jazz Draft Archtype

A typical 1st round Jazz pick by KOC/Sloan: 1-Fills positional need 2-The most polished offensive player available The only exception to this rule was Ronnie Brewer, but he was the BPA by default, though he did fill the positional need.
