15-2 in next seventeen games

In the next seventeen games the only teams that really should cause us much trouble are The Hornets, Portland (x2), Atlanta and the Knicks. New Orleans have started to show that they are not as good as one might think for the first few weeks and we certainly have Portland`s number. This string of games can put us in a position where we find ourselves very high in the standings if we do our job.

So how many of these games will we end up winning? 15 is a target that is possible to reach if we do what we are supposed to do and would put us at 32-10 setting us up for a 60+ win season. Can we do it, will we fail miserably or can we do even better than 15?

The schedule definitely gets easier over the next month (even though the Jazz are finishing up a 13/16 home game stretch alot of those games were against very good teams). I hate predicting wins more than a week in advance but I definitely think the Jazz will still be positioned firmly among the top-4 teams in the Western Conference by the time they play Boston, the Lakers and Spurs in the 2nd half of January.

I was looking over the schedule recently. Jazz currently have had the second hardest schedule in the league.

That said, there are no "easy" games in the league, but the Jazz have shown this year that road games aren't a hindrance. 15-2 over the next 17 is very realistic. 13-4 seems more of an expectation that I'm happy with, 30 wins at the halfway point would be quite welcome.

could have been my words.

If I remember correctly they also finished with a lot of road games. Last year the Lakers didn't exactly rest up for the playoffs.

whoa look at these unbridled expectations. that 4-0 road trip was four bounces away from 0-4. guys. guys please come down from there. this is going to become a grouchy place real soon if 15-2 is considered "realistic"

7-10 is also realistic. Aside from the first two blowout losses on the road (Golden State even count as a blowout loss?), the Jazz have been very competitive on the road. Almost more so than at home. This team has shown in the first ten road games that they play well on the road. The Jazz have yet to lose to a bad team. The only team under .500 they've lost to is Golden State, and the Warriors started out very well.

...exactly! This team is way to inconsistent, especially when it comes to outside shooting and use of brains.....to go 15-2! I don't think they could go 15-2 if all 17 games were at home against Cleveland! That being said....I hope they surprise me!

No it wasn't. Explain to me at any point in the Orlando game where a missed FG would've cost us that game?
