2 Solutions We Have On Our Roster Right Now

Only trading pieces we've got are Bojan and Ed. But unfortunately due to Bojan's lengthy contract we will likely get less in return than what Bojan currently offers on the table.

Joe you can't trade him this year. Not any nore.

And Dante you would have to package him with draft picks just so other teams is willing to take on his garbage contract. Dante currently holds negative trade value.

His offense will never be good but he'll start defending and rebounding at an elite level eventually.

No he won't. Even Rudy's defensive stats decline from last season and there is a reason for that. You can't be expected to guard everything in the entire paint just by yourself. Crowder and Favs both possess the physicality to cover down when Rudy is drawn out of the paint. We don't have anyone like that any more. Unless you pair Ed along with Rudy, but then our offense would suck bad.

I think Royce is a trade piece

Do you guys remember yesterday when I told you Ed was murdering the offense... well the real plus minus numbers came out today... Ed is the worst offensive center and the 2nd worst offensive player in the league... according to their measure.

You put Ed out there with the bench guys and they ain't scoring. Bradley is basically average on both offense and defense... average is going to make a meaningful difference.

I love Royce and would love to keep him and that is the exact reason why he is a trade piece. He's the mythical 1st rounder everyone thinks we can use in a trade.

Juwan Morgan is coming along nicely in the G-league. He's kind of like Jordan Bell, except with a pretty reliable jump shot.

It's time to just dump Brantley, Oni, JWF, Morgan, NWG and go sign some vets to help us if injuries occur.

It is damn obvious at this point that Quin is never ever ever under any circumstance other than garbage time going to play these guys.

I've brought up how much Niangs minutes kill us to Jazz insiders on social media. I mean it's statistical fact that it's true. These guys tote the company line though that "shooting" makes him highly valuable. They also defend Quin's bench decisions to the death.

It's obvious Quin is going to die on this sword.

This forum complained everyday nonstop for 30 years that the Jazz have got to get more shooters. Niang can shoot. Now it's nonstop complaining every day that you need to get rid of your best shooter off the bench. Whatev/

You don't understand. Yes Jazz fans have always wanted more shooting. Traditionally it's been a team weakness. It's not a weakness anymore. We are one of the best three point shooting teams in the league with or without Niang.

Here's the thing with Niang that hurts us so much... he can't do anything except shoot 3's. And when I say that I mean it in a literal sense.

- He averages only 0.5 assists in nearly 12 minutes a night. That's only 1.5 per 36. And at the same time he's averaging 0.5 turnovers as well. He's a non-factor playmaker.

- He averages only 1.6 defensive rebounds per game. Only 5.0 per 36. Below average for his size. And when he plays next to Jeff Green (who is also a poor rebounder) this becomes a glaring weakness for us.

- He averages only 0.1 offensive rebounds, 0.1 steals, 0.2 blocks per game. He does not get deflections. He does not create extra possessions for us at all.

- He averages 1.3 two point fg attempts per game, only 0.5 free throw attempts per game, only 1.6 free throw attempts per 36. He's not a threat as a driver, screener, in post up. He does not draw fouls. He does not get us some easy points at the line.

- 109 Defensive Rating. Well below average defender. Gets beat often. Gives up a lot of weak fouls and And 1's.

- His +/- is in the toilet. One of the worst on the team. Whenever he checks in we're terrible.

Yes he can shoot the hell out of the ball from 3. But I truly don't understand how anyone can look at the cold hard numbers above and tell me his ONE made three per game makes up for all of it.
