2011 draft.....

Also, if we dont go PG at 6. We should look at either drafting, or trading down to draft Reggie Jackson from Boston College. 6'3 PG, 7-0 wingspan good assist #'s and great FG and 3PT %, really athletic. Next Westbrook?

In all the years I have followed basketball and the draft, this is the biggest gap between the top of the board and the rest. The worst pick in this draft is going to be #3, and I expect the Jazz to get it.

Feel the same way. 2 studs and a lot of what ifs.

Repped and I've had taht same thought! Atleast, we could end up with Brandon Knight. Or try and package the 3rd pick with Memo?

According to Chad Ford, he is going to rise up the draft board in workouts. I like what i have seen. Lets list your to three risers and top 3 sliders of this draft, based on what happens during the combine and workouts.

Risers
Terrence Jones
Klay Thompson
Reggie Jackson

Sliders
Bismack
Marcus Morris
Jan

Highlight video from last year, pretty sick stuff

Thx nice video!

Jackson could end up being a real good player. At the very worse, he's better than Price.... But is he worth a lotto pick?

With his crappy outside shot and perhaps less than amazing quickness (but great wingspan and jumping ability) a better comparison would be Rondo?

Rondo IMO isn't as quick or as fast as Westbrook. But he's still pretty athletic and extremely explosive when it comes to jumping.

Interesting to see if all the foreign guys will come over and workout. If you are going to be taken in top 10 it may be good to find some excuse and not come over. Some of them are still playing in their leagues in Europe.

Yeah. Jimmer will probably go #2.

We are just going to have to disagree about this. Rondo and Westbrooke are two of the quickest and fastest players in the league.

What position would he play in the NBA? As a 4 he is undersized. As a wing he is not that great of a shooter.

Leonard's floor game has made some important improvements in the his sophomere year. If you draft him you are expecting that improvement to continue. He probably isn't ever going to be a great shooter off the dribble. But I expect he will become a decent shooter with his feet set and he already will be a good slasher.

As for his position he can guard 1's,2's and 3's. Offensivelly he fits best as slashing to the hoop and around the basket to take advantage of his rebounding ability. So I would say he would be a 3 with a developing jumpshot. Next to Hayward he could take the more difficult defensive matchup.

He seems like a pretty good shooter to me. Shooting above 40% from 3 is crappy?

I really like Leonard.... Gerald Wallace anyone?
In one of the hundreds of draft threads I made that as a ceiling comparison and thought at the very least the Jazz could use him like Brewer but with a slightly better jump shot.

No offense but given your draft thread history/track record I find myself to close to your picks and may have to change my mind to Kanter & Jan Vesely.

j/k ... kinda

I like Charles Jenkins as much or more than anyone not named Kyrie.
I don't know who this is to be honest adn I don't know if it is good or bad but if he was on the Jazz he would become Leeroy Jenkins and every time he scored all I'd hear is "Leeeerrrooooyyyy Jeennkiinnss" and every mistake he made I'd hear "at least I got chicken".

I know the gamer geeks know this but here is a link to a sound board https://www.scottwills.co.uk/flash/teamwork/teamwork.html
