Vesely runs the floor well, and has the tools to develop a reliable jumpshot. And, he is NBA-style athletic. That is all you can say about the guy. These attributes don't make him a #6 pick, IMO. But if he falls to #10, then somebody will have pretty good value on their pick.
So do many of the SFs in this draft. Dwill, Leonard, T Jones, are all NBA-style athletic. Especially Tjones and Dwill, who played against tough competition. If anything, Vesely is too tall and skinny for SF. Perhaps he should eat a good meal and try playing PF?
In fact, Tjones might be the most NBA ready out of all of them. 6'8" 244 lbs and a freakish wingspan as only a freshmen?! It helps that he played at UK too. His adjustment to NBA speed and physical play should be small compared to what some of these foreigners are going to go through. Given UK's recent products, Tjones is going to do just fine in the NBA.
