2011 draft.....

Why would that indicate Knight is their guy? Kanter is working out Thurs/Fri. Maybe they just need to confirm what they saw from him in Chicago. Basically if he passes the interview and checks out as advertised in their drills, Kanter will be their man.

Unless I made a typo, I'm saying it could indicate that Knight isn't their guy.

Regardless of who the Jazz draft, one thing it certain. Two more white guys will be added to the Jazz.

#3 Kanter
#12 Jimmer

Although I would prefer...

#3 Vesely
#12 Jimmer

Vesely is going to be a really exciting 6'11" forward in this league.

Personally, my ideal Jazz draft would be...

#3 Jan Vesely
#12 Marshon Brooks

But, if the Jazz draft Jimmer, I'll understand. Team needs a PG of the future and Jimmer plays a lot like D-Will minus the tattoos.

I'm glad you have only made 73 post over the past year, very glad.

How is Vesely's defense? I mean, he's long like AK - longer actually - but is he a shot blocker? Is he what we hoped AK would become but only teased us with? Because I think many people are tired of being teased.

We'll see what kind of players Jan Vesely and Marshon Brooks become in the NBA, then you'll be eating it, badly.

I'm gonna go ahead and say that he won't be eating it.

Also you compared Jimmer to D-Will minus the tattoos......what on earth are you smoking that makes you think Jimmer plays similar to D-Will? Is it because they're both kinda pudgy guards....that has to be it right?

I like to be teased....

Two comments from fords chat yesterday. So when will we get over this kanter love fest and realize knight is the pick? Dont be stupid and say fords an idiot, because that would make you neandrathal like in comparison regarding prospects.

Brad (OR)

Can you make the case that Knight could be a better pro than Irving?
Chad Ford**(1:36 PM)

Yes. He's bigger. A better athlete. He progressed a lot during his freshman year. All of the mistakes he makes are fixable. Irving is further along in his development, but Knight has the physical tools to overtake him if it all comes together for him.

Wally (Florida)

Enes Kanter closer to Darko or Bynum?
Chad Ford**(1:31 PM)

Like both of those guys, he's a major gamble. He has the physical tools and the talent. But you're rolling the dice. I will say that I think he might have a better shot than Darko just because he's got a much better attitude and work ethic. But anyone who tells you they know he's going to be a star or a bust is full of it. We just don't have enough game film to know for sure. But the talent is there.

By the way, Knight has lots of intangibles, a great shooting stroke, a TOTAL class kid, very very smart, and I feel he's loooow risk. Having said that, he stagnated our offense last year in the half court. His first-step was slow (he's not slow, he just has to learn to use it) and he overly avoids contact.

He will NOT bust (opinion) and will earn whatever spot he's selected at, but he does have a way to go.

For what it's worth, us Kentucky knuckle-draggers really do think Chad Ford is VERY (no, extremely) limited in his knowledge of specific players. We prefer to look at the local writers for our information on recruits (as a national guy simply can't know them all) and then compare that to what national guys are saying. All in all, the local guys are simply better (unless it's Jazz homerism, jk).

Ford gets many opinions from gms and real scouts. He does not just make **** up. Local guys are usually biased and simply retarded and in kentucky being retarded has crap load of other meanings.
