2014 College Football

Btw,

The way to end this with me is to bring up my team and take away the SEC portion of the argument... cuz then I got nothin.

Holeeee ****. That is the most epic homeristic post in the history of al gore's interwebz.. lolololol

Yeah. That Arkansas team. That was some awesome football. Look how deep the SEC is. I mean, Arkansas is 0-4 in the SEC.

Good thing they have those 4 OOC games to give them 4 wins. Dat depth doe.

How on earth does anyone put ND over Utah in this scenario? Their best win would be our 4th or 5th best.

I think it's redundant because I don't think it will happen, but c'mon, have some faith. The committee wouldn't F that one up.

If the Utes beat Oregon twice it would make Oregon look like they weren't as tough as everyone thought. Oregon would have loss once to Arizona and twice to Utah. That Scenario would knock down the pac-12 in many peoples eyes just as much as it would lift Utah up.

I don't think it will happen either but if it were to it would definitely hurt the pac 12. Truthfuly the whole pac 12 needs USC and AZ St to step up.

My top 25 based on how you did on the road. Road wins are the toughest wins out there and make the SEC look silly.

#1 - FSU - undefeated, actually have played a pretty tough schedule.
#2 - Oregon - 3-0 on the road. Their only loss looks like it was due to injury.
#3 - Notre Dame. 0-1 on the road vs P5, but their only loss was to FSU and have played a tough schedule so far.
#4 - Miss St - piss poor schedule.
#5 - ASU - 3-0 on the road.
#6 - Utah - 3-0 on the road. Didn't want to jinx them by putting above ASU.
#7 - Michigan St - 2-1 on the road. Only loss to Oregon on the other side of the US
#8 - Ole Miss - 2-1 on the road. Beat Alabama.
#9 - Alabama - 2-1 on the road. Beat WV, who I have ranked higher than Clemson.
#10 - Georgia - 2-1 on the road. Beat Clemson, who I have ranked lower than WV.
#11 - Arizona - 2-0 on the road. Beat Oregon.
#12 - Kansas St - 2-0 on the road.
#13 - Ohio St - 2-0 on the road.
#14 - Baylor - 2-0 on the road.
#15 - Auburn - 1-1 on the road.
#16 - Nebraska - 1-1 on the road.
#17 - Duke - 1-1 on the road.
#18 - TCU - 0-1 on the road. Pathetic.
#19 - UCLA - 4-0 on the road.
#20 - West Virginia - 3-0 on the road.
#21 - USC - 2-2 on the road.
#22 - LSU - 1-1 on the road.
#23 - Oklahoma - 1-1 on the road.
#24 - Marshall - 0-0. Why the hell not? My pity vote for poor mid majors.
#25 - Clemson - 1-2 on the road.

Wait, FSU's schedule is hard and MSU's schedule is easy?

What?

Utah lost to ****ing Washington State, currently a 2-6 team, and you want to put them in the top 10?

LOLOLOLOLOL.

Utah's remaining schedule is absolutely bonkers, and I'd be thrilled with a 3-2 finish the rest of the way.

Having said that, we are definitely in the playoff if we win out. No question.

PKM - If you can show me why LSU should be ranked above Utah, I'll concede I'm a homer.

LSU's only losses are to the (currently) #1 and #4 ranked teams in the country, 1 of those being a road loss.

They just beat the #3 ranked team in the country who some people thought could have been the best team in country.

Utah loss to Washington State. At home.....

Htf did you make this a LSU vs. Utes thing? "we" SEC fans have joked about LSU this year.. srsly.

You brought up the SEC being overrated, not me talking **** about the Utes..

the take-home from this little banter is you are likely neither merely a Utes homer nor a complete retard of epic proportions... but rather, undoubtedly, both.

@PKM the SEC is absolutely over rated.

I believe they are the best conference, but they also get waaaaaay too much benefit of the doubt.

They are at a point where they never have to play anyone out of conference, which is tarded.

Again, I do think the SEC is the best conference, but not by nearly as big a margin as people think. Laugh if you want, but the fact that Missouri and Texas A&M came and competed right away is very very telling.

it shouldn't be a given that the best SEC team is THE best team in the nation, And that any 1 loss SeC team is the best 1 loss team etc etc. To me, it's just super lazy and a crutch that voters lean on instead of actually looking at individual team and conference opponents year to year.

Lmfao.. you really are supertarded.. comedic relief.
He's got a valid point. The SEC keeps their reputation by never putting it on the line. Except for the very top of the conference in one game to end the season. And LSU jumping Utah is a joke. Their schedule is pathetic. They have essentially beat 1 decent team in 3 tries, at home.
