What's new

2014 College Football

My mood has never changed that fast

That's a potential season killer

Yep and energy, momentum and game killer speaking more immediate affects/effects (yes both).

I honestly do not think the U would've won the game anyway but it would've been close and they may have had a chance but as soon as I saw that replay I knew the U would not likely be able to overcome such a monumental swing of momentum and emotion.

Then all the new'ish creative/different offensive play calls immediately went back to the same ol' same ol', obvious D is lining up to stop the run, run the ball anyway. Only pass in obvious passing situations and the O-line and QB fold like they've done all season, that formula hasn't worked in the PAC12 play all season but go ahead and keep status quo. At the end of games we've seen the offense move the ball (when the WR's aren't dropping balls at least) but lets go back to what doesn't and hasn't worked all PAC12 season. Honestly though even if they didn't do that Oregon's going to score and the U wouldn't be able to keep up, but it'd be nice to see at least.

I know Whit has a pair he takes chances all the time, just not with the offense.

Bama wins in a game I didn't think would be that close. I was wrong on that. I never thought Utah would win this game. Just hoped it would be close. Still has a chance to be but giving away your own TD and giving them one in the same play just kills you.

STill undefeated. Suck on that.

I really love that by saying this, you are effectively pimping a win of UT Martin. Is that really something for a mighty SEC team and the #1 team in the country to be proud of? Actually sounds like one of those "scheduled wins" to me. Undefeated is honestly awesome, but I wouldn't be pimping that particular win... Just sayin'

Well the U's D did hang in the game longer then I thought they would and like I said even without the most bone head play in Ute history the U would've likely lost. Why? Because even when losing they seemed to be happy settling for FG's so I would've expected the same with the lead, heck they may have settled for even more FG's then they did, I know this because we've all seen it every game this year.

Lost by 24, Oregon scored 17 points off of TO's and of course the -7 for the U from the ball drop heard around the... SLC (on a side note Clay went to the same HS and Desean Jackson).

I came in expecting a loss and hoping it would be a close game. It's a tougher game to watch when you make a mistake like that. All I can say is that Mariota is a beast and the Ducks are a very explosive team even when you don't make the type of mistakes we did.

Utes are impressive.
Easily could have won the wash st game and should have, easily could have won the asu game and if not for the clay play had a legit chance to win tonight

They could be undefeated and in the top 3 or 4 right now

Honestly a great time to be a ute fan.
Bball team looks to be good too.

Undefeated. That is celebrating every game cuz we haven't lost any.

Ute mentality.

If you are saying a lot of us have common sense then I agree. Oregon is a very good football team. I don't understand why you discount that right off hand. They are a better football team than Utah and yesterday was a perfect example why. They are absolutely explosive on the offensive side. I wish them luck if they end up going to the CFP.
