2015-2016 NBA Thread

Haha.. or... Kobe might decide to have the best game of the season? He usually gets more competitive when the stakes are high.

becomes competitive -> shoots lots of selfish bricks -> gets pissed off -> shoot more bricks-> gets pissed off -> shoot more bricks......

endless cycle? lol

Hahahaha..

I still remember a fun story about Curry's rookie year when he was guarding Kobe in a close game, coming out of the timeout Curry smiled and asked Kobe "Are you scared?". Kobe looked confused and was like "Hell No".

Funny how the table has turned now... I bet Kobe is a little scared about this game... LOL ...

I used to see so many lakers fans in oracle arena. Now I see none. Most of these lakers "fans" are warriors fans now fo sho. classy

Makes me wonder how long it'll be before we follow the GSW model... with Gobert at the C and 4 shooters.

Many teams will attempt to replicate the Warriors, but they are unique and extremely well built....so deep it's disgusting

I thought Favors was going to be shooting the three some this season. Not a ton but about once per game. I'm surprised that hasn't happened.

Much of that is based on the fact that Green is on a rookie deal and Curry and Thompson are on deals that were finished (I think) before the cap exploded (and before Curry began playing Godly) so they're very reasonable. That and getting all the guys to buy in. We need to get a great draft pick this year, maybe a solid 2nd rounder too, pick up a good vet ala Iggy on the cheap or on the last year of a big deal, and one of those guys needs to be fiery. Nigel Hayes, who Cy's touted (and I'e agreed with) would be a great addition in that sense maybe. Tough, tough kid who's measurements (wingspan, standing reach) are slightly longer than Draymond's. He could play the 4 and can hit the 3.

Booker has a wingspan of 6'9.75" and standing reach of 8'10" and was 6'7.5" in shoes.
Hayes has a wingspan of 7'3.5" and standing reach of 8'10" and was 6'8" in shoes.

So Hayes is bigger and waaaaaaaaaay more skilled than Booker. I don't know just how tough he is but he may even be able to play a little 5 ala Green in today's NBA.

The Dubs play at Phoneix and then at home against Sacramento this Friday and Saturday. 18-0 could definitely happen.

The best season ever is the Bulls' 72-10 year. The Dubs now need to go 57-9 the rest of the way to break that mark...which is still 71 win pace.

They can afford one loss for every eight games in the season, so they are essentially two wins ahead of what they need to break the record at this point. It would be an epic accomplishment. A single cold streak or a significant injury would probably doom it.
