Aaron Gordon had a huge game tonight.

19 points
15 rebounds
5 assist

Only 3/9 from the FT line, but he has been a 70% shooter this year which is impressive given where he came from.

Meanwhile, Vonleh has yet to have a double digit rebound game all season. And he's only scored in double figures twice all year--once he scored 10, and once he scored 11. Not to mention his season high in assists is 2.

From NBA.com staff reports
The Suns have fired head coach Jeff Hornacek following Sunday’s 91-78 loss to Dallas, according to Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

It was Phoenix’s 19th defeat in 21 games, a nosedive that cost two assistant coaches their jobs shortly after Christmas.
“We’re going to try to get things changed around,” Hornaceck said at the time. “We’re not quitting on anything. We’re just going to continue to work and try to implement a couple of different things and see if we can get it going. Whatever happens after that, you can’t get concerned about that.”
But Hornacek lasted little more than a month after the assistants’ dismissals, ending his Suns tenure at 101-112 in two-plus seasons.
Hornacek’s stint with the Suns, for whom he played from 1986 to 1992, started well enough with a 48-34 season in 2013-14. But they fell to 39 victories last season, and at 14-35 are on pace to finish with their worst record since they joined the NBA as an expansion franchise in 1968-69.
They have the NBA’s worst record since Dec. 20, ranking last in offensive rating (96.3 points per 100 possessions), defensive rating (111.0/100) and point differential (minus 14.7/100) over that span. The swoon was compounded by the loss of leading scorer Eric Bledsoe, who is out for the season with a torn meniscus.
It was not immediately clear who will succeed Hornacek. The Suns promoted longtime NBA guard Earl Watson and former Developmental League coach Nate Bjorkgren to fill their bench vacancies in December.

They would have to get rid of Andre Iguodala and Harrison Barnes to get KD under the Cap + keeping the BIG 3 as well.

Can it be done? Yes. Will Durant bite? Doubt it. Durant by all account is his own man and I'd imagine he's a bit like KG. He wants to create his own legacy and 'win it his way'. GSW have already won a ring with this group, I think KD would rather be in a team where he can create his own history.

yeah I don't believe it either. He'll stay in OKC.

Vonleh's going to be a good player! He seems to have won over the vets in that locker room, Lillard says he can shoot way better than people realize. He's almost got 40 starts on the season but he doesn't get too many minutes -- It's going to pay off in the long run, Portland will be the winners of that Batum trade.

Aar Gordon's been putting up some serious stats the last 2 games. Orlando's in a tailspin though, interesting to see what happens.

^^^

See that block vs LeBron? He's like a cross between LaMarcus Aldridge and Roy Hibbert.

Good, not Hibbert though, Myles Turner gets off the ground quickly to block shots. He's like Serge Ibaka.

Remember how all these one and done's are performing when the commissioner speaks on the 'two-and-done' rule. He'll talk about protecting NBA teams from busts and other grade AAA garbage.

Roster stability and coaching are the most important factors when it comes to the difference between rookies looking like 15 year olds and rookies having situational value plus it's really exciting to see the development process of a 20 year old potential future superstar.

Unfortunately teams that have the best odds at landing the most enticing talent usually are poorly coached and don't have a stable roster.
Following well coached middle of the pack teams w/o a true superstar integrate a rook in their roster is usually hella fun.
Myles Turner is probably the only reason I watch the Pacers at times this season. Frank Vogel is a very good coach, but the team is in no mans land. And they most likely won't be able to add legit talent to put them back into contention.
Every time I tune in it also saddens me to see Monta Ellis suffering from not having Nowitzki as the screener and multiple other guys who want to handle the ball a lot, but amplify Ellis's weaknesses so much.

Phoenix Suns forward T.J. Warren will miss the rest of the season with a broken foot, league sources tell @TheVertical.

Impressed with how well Goodwin is playing. I never really expected him to amount to much, but he is showing his potential.
