2015 Annual JazzFanz Current Players Draft

Go look at Houston's team.

They are a bunch of terrible offensive players who can barely hit shots much less dribble the ball, but somehow manage to score a ton because Harden creates everything for them.

James Harden will choke in a 7 game series anyways, done it twice already in the biggest stages. Not as big of a fan of his as others are. Dude can't play a lick of defense either. Good luck with him trying to guard Thompson.

His lack of defensive is severly overstated. Pretty sure there was an article that showed he actually played above average defense this season.

Kyle Lowry lead the 4th best offensive team in the NBA last year with DeMar DeRozan being his second best player who can't shoot threes to save his life.

Toronto put up 104 points a game with Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan. Not sure what you are trying to get at with that argument.

Played in the East.

Wouldn't even make the playoffs in the West and wouldnt even be an All-Star.

Kyle Lowry is severly underrated on this board. Find me another player who averaged 17 points, 7 assists, and 4.5 rebounds while taking less than 15 shots a game with a usage percentage of under 25%. You can't.

At the end of the day, Harden > Carmello and the team I've set up around Harden fits better than the team you've set up around Melo.

I'm going to bed soon. Have to get up real early tomorrow. So if Howard and Jeffrey don't pick in the next 20 minutes or so, you'll have to wait til tomorrow morning for my pick

I have a ****ing all-star team who will outscore any team here. Lowry and Thompson are underrated defenders and Chandler is a premier defender.

Not sure a team leaned heavier on a player then Houston did with Harden. He was everything to that team. Not sure they win 30 games without him. Also don't forget that D-12 was out for a while. The fact that the rockets had a 2-3 seed in the playoffs in the west don't remember exactly, is nothing short of amazing to be honest. Gained a ton of respect for him for what he did. Should've been MVP in my mind

I like the Trey Burke numbers Lowry put up in the playoffs this year.

Game 5 of the WCF.

James Harden finished with 13 turnovers (playoff record) to go along with 14 points on 2-of-11 shooting.

I'll agree with this.

I'd take Harden over Melo 10 times out of 10.

There are just certain player in the league that have nice skills, but I wouldn't even bother putting them on my team. Waste of time and lost cause . Melo and Cousins are two big names that come to mind. Both New York and Sacramento would be a lot better served to trade them while they still have a lot of value.

Players have bad games. It happens. Even Curry had a very bad playoff game in the Finals.

He puts up playoff stats that right in line with his regular season stats, and doesn't have huge dips in production efficiency.

Wtf. Who said Carmelo > Harden?

I kind of like Melo, but you have to put the perfect team around him.

More than anything, I hate the way Randolph fits alongside Melo. Melo is a SF who likes to dominate PF space. It's a big reason why Jeff Green sucks in Memphis, because he is also a SF who likes to play in PF space. So you are either going to have Melo or Randolph being very uncomfortable on offense.

Carmelo was my 2nd round pick. I couldn't pass up on him at #20, too much value.

If I go out, I'm going out with a team that I like and with a team that will outscore any team here.

BTW Hack, Jeffrey will be on very soon. But I don't know about Howard.
