Too expensive. But I think he would be a good fit with Gobert covering him. Would add a great scoring option. But, it ain't happening.
I know, us trading with Ainge is never going to happen for DL. Both too shrewd to get screwed over.
The Cavs are good, but they're not all that good. Jazz wouldn't be getting embarrassed like this.

C'mon man, Hayward's not going to leave to join this **** show. The Celtics needs to hit back at least a little.
I dont know how much it matters. The Celtics are going to sell Hayward on the fact they think they will be able to get Jimmy Butler or Paul George also. I think it all depends on how much Boston has to give up to get Butler or George. If they have to give up too much, the team might not be attractive to go to. The team Boston wants to build and this Boston team won't look too similar.

Of course Hayward wouldn't join this team. He'd join the one with Hayward, another marquee player, a #1 pick, etc.

If I were Chicago I'd trade Butler for Fultz, Crowder and Olynyk in a heart beat.

Yeah but if you are Chicago and you know Boston has to make this trade to get Butler to convince Hayward to join the Celtics, do they have leverage to ask for more? Is there a point where they say too much? Does Hayward want to join the Celtics if they cant get Butler or George? Knowing Aigne he is going to try and play hardball w/ offers.

If that's the case I'd probably swap Olynyk for a future 1st rounder. That's a good young team to re-start with.
IT and Horford are flawed as cornerstones, even if they get Butler. They're both being exposed in this series.
They are going to trade IT if they get Hayward or not. IT will not be on the Celtics by the end of next season, book it.
If I were Celtics I'd still keep IT ... but trade Fultz, Crowder and a pick for Butler.

Butler can and will guard LeBron. IT can score. Hayward can be the glue. That team can make the Finals.
They don't want to pay ITs next contract. They are 100% trading him.
