2016 NBA Playoff Thread

They are playing the best team in the history of basketball. I still they think they steal one game (3 or 4) just because Harden can go off for 1 game.

In the history of basketball?

Shouldn't we see them break the 6 championships in 7 seasons with two 3-peats of the Bulls first?

I mean, my hat's off to them closing with single digit losses, but Bulls' is more impressive still to me.

Apparently King James was too humble for LeBron. Now he's gotta roleplay as Jesus.

So reading the article apparently the team wanted to have a players only dinner to create some comraderie and Tristan Thompson made some comments about "the last supper." Not once in the article is the word "jesus" mentioned. Lebron is never compared to jesus or said to play the role of jesus.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – On Thursday the Cleveland Cavaliers had a team dinner and it was where the theme of their upcoming postseason adventure was created:

"We're all in this together and we need to take care of business now."

During that player-only chow down, Tristan Thompson said that was LeBron James' message to the team. The emphasis was on not looking ahead, but staying in the moment.

Their rebounding specialist is calling that dinner "The Last Supper."

"If you look back at Greek mythology and even back before World War 1, every time a team would go out to battle, they'd eat first," Thompson told cleveland.com. "I think that's what it symbolizes before going out to battle. Having that last supper before it's time to go to war."

Buy ya, what a jackass lebron is for trying to play the role of jesus.

ATL definitely has a shot. Their offense isn't singing the way it was last year, but they're coming into their own defensively. They have better than a "shot", IMO. Solid competition for the Cavs.

I think everyone in the East could beat the Cavs. The Eastern Conference is super balanced and Cleveland hasnt looked like world beaters this year.

I agree they get could beat the Cavs in the sense they could get a few games but good luck beating LBJ in a 7 game series

Screamin A Smith just reported on sportscenter that DeMar DeRozan is enjoying his last days in Toronto and will sign with the Lakers in the offseason.

This is borderline unwatchable..

If you're talking about the Warriors game, I quit watching it after the 1st quarter. Curry is taking away all the excitement. He just trolls the game with his quick unguardable shot release.

yep.. 1 game in, IMO it's looks like even a hobbled Jazz squad would have provided more resistance than the swag champs.
