2017 Annual JazzFanz All-Time NBA Draft

12 players then.

Two from the 60's
Two from the 70's.
Two from the 80's.
Two from the 90's.
Two from the 00's.
Two from the 10's.

We did one like this before.

Wayyy too complicated for my liking. Also who will be doing the policing?!?! Also where's the freedom to construct the team however you see fit????

That's what the current draft is for u can't draft Hordan in the current draft why should u draft LBJ in the all time draft. Having current guys make it not worth drafting some legends. It's also more challenging with more strategy.

Ummm...LeBron is already an all-time legend. We're drafting the best players possible, if some of them are playing now, great! If they're not, great! It takes more strategy to figure out how the current players matchup with old players due to playing style, differences of eras, and what not.

But hey, we can have a draft where we're taking old bums that couldn't make it today. I'd rather try to decide who the best players of all time are, current or not.

Makes people not draft legends because they are worried they won't get votes.

How is this complicated? Do you have the brain the size of a pea? You know you want a great player. Just look up what their best year is and state that year upon selection.

It makes the draft more equitable. Arguing era vs era will occur less because everyone will have the same amount of players from each era. And it mixes it up. Doing what we do every summer gets old after a while.

If you draft people from the 50's and 60's lmao.

Those dudes played against the equivalent of D2 college athletes.

I mean, maybe some of those dudes could still play today, but the game-play footage you see from the 50's is probably worse basketball than a run you can get at a decent gym.

I'd prefer to leave it as is.

That's my vote as well. I value freedom of choice greatly. It's also complicate enough as it is when picking for some people - what if they picked too many players in the 00s and nobody noticed, for example? Are we gonna have to go back and re-pick all the picks that were made after that mistake?

I don't see this as a problem
