2017 Annual JazzFanz Current Players NBA Draft

Kyle Lowry
Bradley Beal
LeBron James
Jabari Parker
Dwight Howard

If Parker didnt have an ongoing ACL issue it'd be more praiseworthy. Not sure Parker was even worth drafting in this thing.

He'll play at some point next year. It's about how the voters project him, and I think will project him favorably.

Agree, If they care at all about his well-being they will bring him back very slowly and on heavily restricted minutes.
I like him as a player but I think this year will be all about getting him back up to speed.

All prior cases of ACL tears show it takes a half a season for a player to get back to their previous playing level. If Parker starts in January, then he won't have enough time to recover to a high level. That might even be more of a thing for players who have suffered 2 consecutive ACL tears.

Maybe I'll be able to draft a more reliable option and move Jabari to the second unit. I really like having someone with his potential on my team.

If gandalfe picks relatively soon we can knock out a bunch of picks in a short amount of time.

Isnt Parker out until January at the earliest?
I was thinking about Parker this morning so I looked him up on Rotoworld. The team hasn't set a date for him to return, but best guess was February

One thing to consider is how affective he'll be when he comes back coming off a second ACL injury, though I don't recall if it's the same knee or a different one, but regardless it will take time for him to get to where he needs to be to be effective

If he didn't have the 2 ACL injuries he would have been picked a couple of rounds ealier. The fact that he won't play until Feb might only be apparent to us hardcore basketball junkies though. Casual fans might still be thinking he's healthy.
