Perimeter D.jom gonna jom.
Enlighten me. Why did we lose?
We want a championship not just contend. You seen what contenders did today. How many championships do we have. Well maybe we better do the things to win a championship and not just contend
Sprewell was a fine example of being a guy getting trouble off court, but ball the **** out on court. Could've been Josh Jackson
Yes we are. There is not a team we can't beat this year.
Signed, the guy who said we couldn't beat the Warriors or Rockets last year.
You have to contend to win a championship. We're contenders. What move were we making today to greatly increase our odds? When your ammo is Davis, Mudiay a far off first and seconds there's no gamechanging move to be made. Clarkson was our move.
Spree was no walk in the park... there are some other stories on him, but PJ seems to be a world class ******* away from the mics and cameras from what I've heard.Sprewell was an amazing player and a good guy. I don't for one second believe that Sprewell choked PJ unprovoked. According to reports, Sprewell said numerous times for PJ not to "come up on him" yet PJ kept coming. He told PJ to stay away, and PJ kept coming. Everybody knew PJ was really hard on his players, and how this whole story made Sprewell look 100% awful still irks me to this day.
Now, I will say, Sprewell's actions were unacceptable. He shouldn't touch the coach. He should not choke him. That's completely unacceptable. His actions were awful, but not as awful as going into a crowd and throwing punches at fans. Sprewell has a worse rep for what he did in a closed practice than the guys from the Malice in the Palace.

What ended him was declining 21 mil/3 years contract and stating that it was not enough to feed his family. He was an imperfect person, but the whole PJ thing ended up defining him.

Players that didn't get moved that its kinda surprising...
- Baynes
- Thompson (though he's got a big number)
- Courtney Lee (expiring deal that could have been turned into something I would think)
- Markieff Morris
- Meyers Leonard or Olynyk (maybe one was in those trades... didn't see)
- Knicks expirings
- Bulls players (like none of them)
Anyway... the volume of deals was a lot less than I expected.
Like does someone here actually think it would be foolish to trade NWG? He’s 25.5 years old and looked awful when we’ve seen him. What’s the likelihood he’s ever going to develop into more than a #3 point guard?

If/when we decline to waive NWG for someone on the buyout scrap heap, you’re going to see some guys surface with this argument, alleging that if DL & Co. didn’t see reason to waive him for one of those guys, then there’s obviously some magical genius to it, because there’s no way a GM of a professional sport gets that call wrong when going up against some guy on a message board from New Jersey. Unless we’re talking about some other team’s GM, then those guys can be outsmarted by Internet clowns, but not us. No. That’s silly.Like does someone here actually think it would be foolish to trade NWG? He’s 25.5 years old and looked awful when we’ve seen him.
