2020 NBA trade deadline discussion

Russell Westbrook is frankly everything I hate in a basketball player. Fake stats, just a real dick head on the court, high volume, low efficiency, shoots his teams out of games, and a back-breaking contract.

And, oh yeah, ran KD out of OKC. I want no part of that garbage.

Watching Damien Lillard flush the Thunder down the toilet on that game-winner and wave bye to that insecure little turd was an absolute delight. Westbrook will never accomplish anything so significant since I consider playoff success an entirely different tier than regular season.

He can take a **** team and make them a 40ish win team... but I'm honestly so glad he's with Houston... every shot he shoots is not a Harden shot, Gordon shot, Capela dunk, or PJ Tucker three... he's never been a consistent defender... I know the CP/Harden relationship was bad, but to give up extra assets to get this guy was something else... OKC must be laughing their asses off.

I think eventually Westbrook lands in NY... maybe he can get them the #8 seed and make them watchable.

Westbrook is not a decent person or basketball player. He is one of the world's greatest athletes, but thankfully, I believe the Jazz organization would rather have any other player above him, and that's if all contracts were equal. IMO, he has the worst contract in all of basketball because he's just not someone anyone wants as a teammate.

The only entertainment would be watching the battle of the wills between Quin and Westbrook. Two strong minded individuals, Quin would win, but would be bloodied.

I would love to see Westbrook go to Minnysota maybe Detroit?

I could see Detroit being all over that... sell some damn tickets maybe... Minny has a great player I’d hate see dragged down by that circus.

What’s the talk out of Houston? Are they in panic mode yet or denial?

They’ve been denying the unwatchability of Harden’s game for years now.
Tillman looked around the room at the MIT grad and seasoned GM Daryl Morey and his veteran coach in Mike D with a world of experience and he said “what should we do?” Then as they started to form the first words he interrupted and said “shut up and listen!” And then laid out a plan of how they just needed to do better or get more Tillman in their DNA.

This is their bi-weekly meeting they have every week.

The rest of the league knows it. But Houston never will until the refs wake up.

Too bad. Harden could play beautiful basketball if he wasn't so good at playing what he plays instead.
