What's new

2020 Vintage 80’s 90’s draft winner changes my picture.

I will take Chris Webber... get his bullets and warriors days and the first part of his run with Sacramento. Big athletic dude that can pass and run with my run and fun team. Will play small ball 5 if I need to or play alongside my bigs.

Mitch Richmond

Could score from all levels, an elite 3 pt shooter, who’s volume rivaled that of the average of today’s players. He posted up weaker 2guards and take Opponents off the dribble and finish inside

Most underrated star of the 90’s

Jordan once praised Mitch Richmond saying he was the hardest SG to guard.

Richmond went on to become a six-time All-Star and a five-time All-NBA selection in Sacramento and was the MVP of the 1995 All-Star Game.

He was also fourth in the NBA in minutes played in 1994-95 and in 3-pointers in 1995-96 and 1996-97. He was fifth in the league in total points in 1995-96 and fourth in 1996-97, as well.

But Richmond was also fifth in 3-point percentage in 1996-97 and in scoring average in both 1996-97 and 1997-98.

In May 1998, the Kings sent Richmond and Otis Thorpe to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Chris Webber.

In seven seasons in Sacramento, Richmond averaged 23.3 points, 4.1 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 37.8 minutes per game, shooting .453/.404/.847.

Good pick. Crazy anyone is drafting guys like VC or Kobe over him.

You mean how the jazz of the 90’s basically have the least amount of size and athleticism but those were the best teams. Don’t be an idiot. You don’t know what your talking about.

How do 2 guys who were top 5 all time at their positions, who played together for 20 years, not win a championship? Because of the lack of athleticism and size.
