In this scenario it was Wemby for Luka but I know what you’re saying if it wasn’t this scenario. Sexton might be of interest to them.

It's not covering their ***, it's just knowing and understanding the topic. The less people know about a topic the more they feel confident about that topic.

This is a good post but I thought the scenario was we have the number 1 pick this year and mavs want to give us luka for it or something like that.

I know this my seem irrational but with a top 20 pick I’m looking for a guy that has a ceiling of what would be a top 7 or 8 ish player in that particular draft… unless it turns out to be a great draft. Landing say the 15th best player in an average draft with the 20th pick is not like a big win… it’s not a big L…

Not sure if that makes sense or seems dumb… later in the draft I think you can try and hit a single… if you are cap strapped finding a rotation player in the draft can be a bigger win but with where we are I’m taking bigger swings.
 
I kinda wanted Tay Henny to be done. Having a nice game against Floriday in the NIT. 17/7 and 2 steals and a block... 8/11 from the field - 1/2 from 3.

Ochai, I’d consider. Not going to get Luka Doncic for nothing. . .

But Kessler is a hard “No” for me. I’m not putting him in the deal. Jazz will have to create value somewhere else.

Guys here have had some really nice hits… Cy really liked Kuzma, I think he also was higher on Donovan than others, HH really liked Bane, etc. One big hit like those in the 20’s far outweighs multiple misses.

Ultimately, this is who I see as the Jazz mostly likely legitimate #1 target - outside of a jump into the top 4. Even then, I could see them taking him if they jump up to 4 and Wemby, Scoot and Miller are all off the board.

Whitmore feels like a very Danny Ainge type of pick.
