If you look at the guards that Ainge has drafted previously, I think it puts the Thompson Twins, Black, Wallace, Bufkin and JHS all in play for Utah.I really like Bilal a lot. I also like Taylor and I love Cam. Black felt like a forced marriage. Yeah he will be good for your and has child bearing hips but just isn't sexy. But he has lots of great qualities. If Ainge, Hardy, Justin love him then those are the smartest basketball minds in the state then there is a it factor and I will open my mind to it.
Yeah and I think if DA does take Bilal #9 I will think he knows all the behind the scenes stuff that may have a huge impact on a kids career. I'm just over the folks that are gagging and declaring Hendricks a worst case scenario. Give me a damn break.I do think there's more reason to believe that Bilal could be a ball in hand guy. He's been a ball in hand guy for almost his entire career. While his opportunities with the ball are limited, I don't think there's a lack of feel there. Part of the appeal with Bilal is that belief that he can/will develop faster than the others. It's a meme, but he really is that guy who grew a ton and is settling into his body. The developmental trajectory from 3, 6, 9 months etc. is insane. But again to raise your point, why not Hendricks? I don't necessarily agree with the traditional view of what makes someone high potential, but Hendricks does check a lot of those boxes.
One thing in both player's favor for me is that they are late bloomers. I prefer the late bloomer over the blue chip that plateaued.

Familiarize yourself if you ain't on the bandwagon.
JHS seemed more mature in his confidence though.JHS is ummm extremely confident as well. I think it's mostly a good thing, but obviously to the extreme could mean they aren't going to take coaching well and could limit improvements.
A+ domain nameMan, how did nbadarft.net ever recover from this. Place is a joke.
Taylor HendricksCan someone please tell me who we are drafting? Thanks in advance.
My prediction is the Pistons cave tomorrow and do the 5 for 9 and 16 deal with us and we take Black at 5. Just a gut feeling.
I think this happens as well but not 100% convinced it’s for Black. Could be for someone else but I hope it’s for Black.
A few weeks ago I thought there was a good chance Jaquez would still be there at 28...seems pretty much impossible at this point.

It may depend on who gets to 9... but I doubt they'd take Black to wait and see. I think it actually may end up being 9 and a future pick for Black if it gets done.My prediction is the Pistons cave tomorrow and do the 5 for 9 and 16 deal with us and we take Black at 5. Just a gut feeling.
So why has it been so difficult for the Jazz to find a guy like that?My main point is that Hendricks isn't that special and shouldn't be a priority inside the top 10. He's a 3D wing who really needs to play at the 4 and needs other people to set him up. Guys like Jerami Grant, Robert Covington, Kyle Kuzma, etc., they're fine, they're rotational, but no one builds their team around a player like that. Those players play for 4 or 5 teams over the course of their career.
You gotta look at the context of what was occurring at the time of the post. Sometimes we say things in the heat of the moment that we don't really mean. I certainly hope that has been the case with some of the posts from you directed at me for instance.I dont value or respect anyone who says things like "x poster likes player Y, so I dont like player Y"
If that's the basis of your draft analysis I'd rather read nbadraft.net scouting reports than anything you have to say.
Nobody darfts like them.A+ domain name
