2024-25 Trade Rumors Thread

Is this a hunch or things you are hearing? Could Utah not get involved in a 3-teamer that sends Collins to Sacramento?

Just a hunch, I guess it depends on what they get back for Fox in a deal.
It depends on what their goals are. I could see Sacramento getting some 2nd round fodder from SA that they route to us for Collins still. Just depends on if they still plan on trying for the playoffs. Monk/Derozan/Murray/Collins/Sabonis or put Ellis in there and use Collins off the bench. A Fox trade doesn't really make sense for them as a way to bottom out honestly... unless its combined with another deal. I just think it moves to the back burner so less likely they get around to it. Might also add us in to a three team deal.

I just have no idea what the plan would be and I doubt they do either.

Collins to San Antonio makes a lot of sense if they make a move for Fox. Helps them now and later.

I ain’t saying no to that. Four firsts is pretty nuts for Fox, though, isn’t it? Are they counting the Charlotte pick as a 1st or two 2nds? ‘25 Hawks, ‘25 Chicago, then what? Spurs only have one *extra* 1st to trade after that cuz they ain’t trading that Wolves pick (yet). They do have like 20 2nds, though.

Ima shut up.
Nvm it did say two seconds and two firsts but yeah I have the same question, it really depends on which two firsts we are getting

I don't really know what to make of Keldon Johnson as a player. At one point he looked pretty promising. Huerter and Collins expire after next year, so they would make for good expirings in a bigger trade.

You could definitely rehab Huerter into being an asset for a contender who wants a rental shooter. Johnson is probably redundant to Brice as a player, from what I gather looking at stats.

They get off contracts that don't have positive value as well.

Imo that's a steal for the Kings depending on which first they get. I'd start Ellis and bring Sexton off the bench.
