2024-25 Trade Rumors Thread

Seems like the rumor mill is churning out a lot of butter. Not sure what will happen but it seems like we are getting down to the nitty gritty.
Problem is the key dominos involved are Jimmy - very hard to do a deal with a limited market and giant contract and the Freakin Sacramento Kings... who have deals essentially done but just don't finalize cuz they have no idea wtf they are doing.

Those pieces fall and we could have a lot of stuff... those pieces pause and it might just be a few minor deals on deadline day. I think the Kings stand pat until the summer. Sounds like the Spurs are really patient... pretty sure those assholes are going to stand pat and end up collecting two more lotto picks while Wemby plays the games on hard mode. They have such low hanging fruit to get much better by adding a guy like Sexton or Collins but I really think they want to slow play things.

Not a romcom but I found La La Land delightful. Hitch is a good time. 50 First Dates is a classic.
Haven't seen La La Land. Saw Hitch with my wife while dating. Never seen 50 First Dates. One my wife likes is a K drama called Crash Landing on You. I liked that one a lot, but can't say I liked it more than her as she's watched that series 5-6 times.

This why I think serious consideration should be given to having two trade deadlines: one that is earlier for players of a certain higher designation (max player or All NBA status) and a later one for everyone else. This way, we could knock down a couple of dominoes and still have time to let them fall in a somewhat orderly fashion which would probably be to everyone’s benefit.

Look guys, if I wanted to see a white guy mansplain what jazz is about, I could pull up some good footage from the 1950s. :P
Part of my liking the movie was I thought I would hate it... but you may have missed the overarching message. The movie wasn't about jazz it was about life... and life is jazz.

And I did actually step out of the theater for like 10-15 minutes in the middle so may have missed some of the boring parts.

Are there ever any actual trade rumors posted in here is it always just you guys tapping each other in the nut sack all day?
If the rumors are out there it means the talks already happened and its probably not going to happen.

The only concrete thing we have is Sac/Uta were super close on a Collins deal to the point where players were informed. So that could turn around and happen, but Im guessing the Kings got cold feet on the price and Utah wont budge.

Saw something today about Jazz getting involved in Sac/San Antonio Fox trade with Collins going to Sacramento.
