This guy looks interesting. Plus, we could have headlines like, "Jazz playing the keys."

Looks like a 1st round guy. Not super athletic, but he's long and tuned in on defense. Can also stroke it.

SSS disclaimer, but keep an eye on Carlton Carrington of Pitt - 6'5" PG - averaging 18, 6 and 7 on 56/47/83 shooting splits after 3 games.

He got the first triple double in Pittsburgh since 1998 in his very first game.Hmmmm... I like him. Super clean jumper. Good size and seems unselfish. Will have to check out his other game highlights... this was obviously against some inferior comp.
I checked out his game log and he has been really consistent and efficient... all against "Who Da Eff" Tech type teams but really promising. Also his given name being Carlton and his nickname being Bub is great. That feels like something that would be successful. He got the first triple double in Pittsburgh since 1998 in his very first game.
Like its hard to get excited for Tyler Smith... but Carlton "Bub" Carrington... hell yeah!I checked out his game log and he has been really consistent and efficient... all against "Who Da Eff" Tech type teams but really promising. From what I can tell he was barely in the top 100 (like 98) on two of the major recruiting services and not ranked in the top 100 by ESPN. Doing what he's doing against anyone is really impressive given most of the Freshman class is doing much less against the same types of teams.I checked out his game log and he has been really consistent and efficient... all against "Who Da Eff" Tech type teams but really promising. Tyler Smith is an all time bad name.Like its hard to get excited for Tyler Smith... but Carlton "Bub" Carrington... hell yeah!
It will be someone like this that becomes the steal of the draft. It is… 7:1 assist to turnover… 19,18,18 scoring on bonkers efficiency is something… even if it’s against no name schools. From what I can tell he was barely in the top 100 (like 98) on two of the major recruiting services and not ranked in the top 100 by ESPN. And it's just like very mature looking stuff. I'm sure it won't be this efficient all year, but it doesnt feel flukey. Everything feels under control.
I picture him as the last guy in the Key and Peele skit with the football player's names saying "Tyler Smith, BYU".Tyler Smith is an all time bad name.
