2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

I would probably take Tyler Smith #1 right now. I have forgiven Kessler, he can stay on the team.

He got the first triple double in Pittsburgh since 1998 in his very first game.
I checked out his game log and he has been really consistent and efficient... all against "Who Da Eff" Tech type teams but really promising. Also his given name being Carlton and his nickname being Bub is great. That feels like something that would be successful.

Like its hard to get excited for Tyler Smith... but Carlton "Bub" Carrington... hell yeah!

From what I can tell he was barely in the top 100 (like 98) on two of the major recruiting services and not ranked in the top 100 by ESPN. Doing what he's doing against anyone is really impressive given most of the Freshman class is doing much less against the same types of teams.

And it's just like very mature looking stuff. I'm sure it won't be this efficient all year, but it doesnt feel flukey. Everything feels under control.

It will be someone like this that becomes the steal of the draft. It is… 7:1 assist to turnover… 19,18,18 scoring on bonkers efficiency is something… even if it’s against no name schools.

hard to watch that tyler smith highlight video and not come away impressed. yeah, it's a highlight video, but that lefty stroke is no joke and his length is exactly what every nba team is looking for. and he appears to at least be a plus athlete.
