This dude is someone to keep an eye on. Will be interesting to see if he comes out or goes back to school.

A weak class will push him towards coming out, but is a guy who could really benefit from staying in college to continue to craft his lead guard skills vs coming out of the NBA where he will be more type casted as a scorer/shooter.

Daron Holmes is a sneaky name this year for the Jazz. Could possibly be a late first/early 2nd rounder. Big who does a bit of everything.

I watched the Utah-Washington State game last night. Are bigs Branden Carlson (Utah) or Isaac Jones (WSU) on anyone's bingo card for second round or UDFA? Both were all conference players last season and both are older

Carlson is definitely worth a flyer as a bench big. He is soft but skilled and could definitely be a useful stretch big off the bench. He is also a pretty good vertical athlete so he can provide some rim deterrence.

In this draft Furphy should easily be a top 5 pick. Like him a lot. Doesn't have anything close to an NBA body yet, but he's really young.

Also reminds me a ton of a young Hayward. Similar skillset and motor.

I havent seen enough skillset to say Hayward.

My first thought was Chase Budinger.

Sadly Knecht might end up being a top 5 guy if he keeps playing like this. Jaquez having such a great year will give him a boost as teams will be less skeptical about very talented upperclassmen.

Agreed about the Hayward skillset. He has been extremely effective of late but also has been assisted on most of his shots. Hopefully as the season goes on we get to see him to try expand his game and look to create more for himself off the dribble. Even if he doesn't show or have that aspect in his repertoire I still love his fit as movement guy that can hit clean looks. Maybe in the end he more of a Bojan type of guy which would be awesome.

He kind of reminds me of Wally Szczerbiak when he was in college with his shot creation and sneaky athleticism. I think he is a more explosive athlete though. Every once in a while he does something where you say damn he got up.

I wonder what his wingspan will be. He does look pretty long. If he's 6'6 in shoes, I would say he has at least a 6'9 wingspan and anything north of that will be viewed very positively.
