Damn, the Salaun hype is official now.

Cool little tidbit on Flip:

Filipowski has increased his intensity level defensively as well, posting an impressive 2.6 blocks, 1.6 steals and 9.6 rebounds in December, most notably anchoring Duke's pick-and-roll defense in an important win over Baylor in front of a host of NBA executives at Madison Square Garden.

I get the rise for Cody Williams. Been sayin that.
Holland was playing a bit better as of late. I think that's a bit low for him.
If you like Salaun, you should probably also like Tyler Smith, imo, so I don't understand the big gap between them.
Realistically, Topic should go ahead of Walter, imo.

Salaun definitely drips potential when you look at him. Wish he had better stocks, but the shot and athleticism look great.

Smith is more of a 4/5 and Salaun is more of a 4/3.

Yeah, you’ve been on Williams nice call there.

I was thinking HH might admit he was wrong because of those stocks numbers.
My issues with Flip are lateral quickness and shooting. He always seemed to have good defensive hands. Its a ceiling thing with him for me. Just think he tops out as a high end third big. In the late teens and 20s by all means.

the things that would make me buy into Flip are shooting the piss out of the ball and elite passing. Maybe he's more Sabonis or Alpy than I am giving him credit for.

Looking at the list by Givony I'd likely have him closer to 15 or 16... Shep, Dunn, Buzelis, Holland, Castle are all guys I'd take before him. Not a believer in Clingan or Edey at the next level... and that's all I have to say about Flip.

The shooting will eventually come. Maybe not to the "piss out the ball" level, but he's going to be a very respectable shooter.

I want no piss left in the ball... none

Hey… I’ll take it. That’s a big come up from your second-round evaluation last year.

Maybe once I get into this draft I will move him down the board lol. In this draft I think mid first is a good spot to take him, but I haven't really watched him much this year. I want to see how he is moving after the hip surgeries.
