2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

So, I don't care about CBB, but I watched the Maryland-Purdue game with a friend of mine whose son play for the Terrapins. I looked up who was supposed to be his son's defensive assignment and holy. Can we get this Edey guy somehow? Help me out draft/CBB nerds.

There's a 5th year senior on Auburn named Jaylin Williams who is having a great year. His stats and body type give off Grant Williams vibes. Stats wont jump off the page for anyone on Auburn because the leading MPG guy is only at 23, but they are a top team in the country.

What is this center issue that you speak of? I'm more than comfortable with Kessler going forward.
When KO isnt on the team the Jazz wont have a skilled center option. Yang is someone with some high level skill comparable to the current meta of skilled foreign centers (Jokic/Sengun/Embiid/Sabonis).

We hit our quota of this name already

Leif Thulein was talking up Jalen Tyson out of California.

California is a dreadful team, but he is having a great year. Kind of reminds me of Caleb Martin, but admittedly that is partly visual.

Man, Colorado lost by 47 to Arizona.

Colorado had been playing great ball too. Very rare to see a blowout to that magnitude in conference play.

Cody Williams didnt play, but he should return in the next game or two.

David Jones out of Memphis might be a name to watch.

Memphis played a pretty impressive non-conference schedule and he had great games against the best teams they played.

Dropped 26 points on Virginia. 36 on Arkansas. 29 on Texas A&M. 22 on Clemson. 22 on Ole Miss. All those teams have been ranked at some point this season.

Top is Kyle Filipowski and the bottom is Domantos Sabonis

@Handlogten's Heros he has stocks!
I said he has good hands. I don't think he is a rim protector so much as it seems a lot of his blocks are the strip on the way up type of block. Its good still... just not sure he's the vertical threat that will stop people from trying to score.

Calling him Sabonis with rim protection is a lot rich (like saying Taylor is JJJ with a better jumper). We can't ignore the first few columns of the comparison.

He may be a better prospect than I thought. Still need to see the 3 go in and see how he moves laterally in games to judge him.
