2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

I think they would do it in a heartbeat. It also helps their budget. No idea if they are serious about Bronny or why they would be so serious about him. They really don't have any smart way to acquire Lebron.
Hard to say if they would or wouldnt do it. There could be a better trade down deal out there, but in the event there isnt, it seems realistic.

He didn't play at the Eurocamp it seems. Maybe he was there to meet with teams or something of the sort? Get measured?
yeah, the draft guys arent playing besides Djurisic (maybe some very under the radar guys). Just interviews and measurements.

Carter is the only player that excites me in our pick range. There are others I would be happy with, but Carter is above them for me. That seems to be the same way for you with Edey. Are there others that excite you too for number 10 pick?

Supposedly Devin Carter has a lottery promise per KOC
They think it might be the Bulls... and if DA gets wind of it I can all but guarantee we take Carter and then sneak out something else from the Bulls to move back a pick. He loves that ****.

Could also be Memphis given his dad works for them. Maybe Memphis has intel that there isnt a chance in hell Clingan drops to them.

I think it is going to be worth swapping 29/32 for 22... in part because of having 6 first or second year players isn't super ideal... but also I think Dadiet/Edey/Holmes are there. If Collier was really there like on the KOC mock I think that is crazy town but I'd jump on that.

We can also take on Little. I think Little + 22 for 29 or 32 has always made a lot of sense.

Shoutout to the guys on here for being first on Salaun and Dadiet before it was popular. Similar to Bilal last year. Y’all go hard as **** and it’s appreciated.

I thought that as well but it seems like an overpay. I also think they want salary... at least a little to work on trades. So I was thinking like Omer+29 for Little and 22 if they wanted to cut salary but also keep some fodder for other moves. I could see Cleveland being interested in trading back as well. I think there are a few guys I like that could be there at 22 but if it was just Furphy or guys like that I probably just stay put. Collier/Edey/Dadiet/Walter/McCain/Holmes are some of the names that would intrigue me.

I watched a couple of games because of the Bulgarian guy there. There is a Croatian forward(floor spacer, who can attack close outs) Michael Ruzic and a Serbian guard Andrej Kostic that made an impression on me, but they are going to be in next year's class...

Djurisic won the MVP of the camp, but I'm not so sure he deserved it.

With all these teams clamoring for Clingan I do wonder if we should consider a Kessler move. I would like to see him prioritized rather than moved but it seems Hardy and DA may not be enamored with him. Even though he is coming off a less than ideal season I think his contract is at peak value to be moved. I could see Memphis, Chicago, Sacramento having interest... Maybe OKC but they seem to only want bigs that can dribble pass shoot.

I wouldn't be shocked to see him moved I guess.

I'm still iffy on Salaun. He's basically a lump of clay. He's big/long, he's young and he plays hard, but he's a limited spot-up shooter. His main appeal is his ability to attack open lanes. There isn't much handle, or shiftiness or nuance to his game. I was much more excited about Bilal last year.

Yeah, I'm not fully buying Salaun, but I listened to some of Vecenies film breakdown on him and supposedly NBA teams are really enamored with him, more so than the public.

I tend to agree. Good time to move Kessler if the FO is not high on him.

For OKC, Collins isn't a bad fit. I think they want Hartenstein first.....but after that it's someone like Val/Capela/Collins as far as vets go. Collins might be a good option for them.

Knicks are gonna lose IHart and I do think OKC could be the team. If we trade Kessler I just keep Collins and goose his numbers... **** defense all my homies hate defense.
