Yes, he was. When MPJ was drafted by Denver, was he considered a redshirt situation? Anyone remember? He might have been having back surgery.

I would be a buyer in the 35 to 40 range but that I expect to be available at 29 and 32 that I would prefer.I love Freeman. Great story and the kind of kid every coach wants on his team. I’d love for the Jazz to take him in that late 1st / early 2nd range.
You are reading too much into this. We will be bring in more guys to workout. No Stephon Castle, Ron Holland or Rob Dillingham on this list. Guys like McCain, Knecht, Kolek, Scheierman, etc. would suggest that the Jazz still adhere to a high requirement for shooting. Edey and Ighodaro are the only true bigs.
Risacher is a good athlete, don't overreact to the combinebatum was never an elite athlete, though he was a good athlete, risacher is quite a bit worse in terms of athleticism, probably a better shooter.
Maybe try reading the word "incomplete"No Stephon Castle, Ron Holland or Rob Dillingham on this list. Guys like McCain, Knecht, Kolek, Scheierman, etc. would suggest that the Jazz still adhere to a high requirement for shooting. Edey and Ighodaro are the only true bigs.
Terrance Shannon Jr was cleared on all charges today for his case. I was waiting for trial to comment on his draft prospects.
He is very old, but has some intriguing attributes as a player. Really good at getting to the basket+finishing, improved 3FG shooter and good FT shooter, and has very good reviews on his defense.
Kinecht avg 20+ his last two years at TennesseeThe huge difference between Knecht and TSJ is that Knecht only had a single year of high major experience and dominated (how good Knecht was really gets swept under the rug. He's the best scorer the SEC has seen in decades). I would say Knecht is the better player and has more untapped potential.

I think we have to remember the jazz big board is usually much different than ours it seems.
Having all four of those skill sets isn't all that common. I think for instance Risacher is the only other guy projected in the top 10 that can currently do all four. Cody's big issue is his body. He's going to have to transform it. If you are looking at current NBA readiness, I can see an issue with a top 4 grade on him. But, if we are looking at upside, I think four years down the line he's got a real chanceThat’s kind of a broad statement. I mean lots of prospects can shoot dribble and defend and already have better bodies. Could you go in deeper on that?
When I watch his highlights I do see something but he also looks mechanical to me in his movements. I want to get on board fully but I just can’t. Top 4 seems extreme to me.
It's not about Knecht transferring. It's about Knecht going from unranked HSer who played JUCO to what he is now.I think Knecht has the edge in shooting, but it’s a slight advantage on paper. He also seems like a more vertical athlete.
But Shannon was way better around the basket and getting to the line. This is the reason why Shannon was significantly more efficient than Knecht. I started to cool on Knecht because while he’s a very prolific catch and shoot player, his creation stuff wasn’t nearly as good as I thought it was.
Overall I’m not sure that Shannon’s driving game will translate. In that sense, Knecht has a more bankable skill in a shooter. I wouldn’t qualm too much if you had Knecht ahead for that reason. But Shannon seems to be a much better defender. I haven’t watched enough to confirm those opinions.
I could maybe buy into Knecht being on a steeper developmental trajectory because he kept getting better throughout the year….Im just not going to put too much weight on Knecht transferring. Like I said earlier, I feel like you could take that either direction.
I would have TSJ and Knecht in the same tier. Don’t see enough reason to separate them and consider them vastly different levels of prospects….but depending on what you value more I could see giving either the nod. I personally think TSJ’s significant advantage in finishing at the basket/getting to the FT line + defensive reputation indicates more upside.
