I mean if there’s anyone that’s got to start considering the merits of fit, it’s the Pistons.Fit vs talent, he’s not the 5th best player in this draft.

This draft is worse than 2013.**** that. Love this draft.
He might be the 4th best actuallyFit vs talent, he’s not the 5th best player in this draft.
Nope. Solid depth in this draft. This draft is worse than 2013.
Yeah top 6 aren’t great but after that it’s just as good as any past drafts in my eyes.Nope. Solid depth in this draft.
Even the top 6 looks pretty rock solid when it comes to potential elite role players. It's not a star draft but there are so many guys that project as elite starting role players and solid bench role players.Yeah top 6 aren’t great but after that it’s just as good as any past drafts in my eyes.
I definitely looked at this... I do wonder if this is the draft that breaks the trend. Between the league getting deeper and AS slots staying the same... I think there may not be a guy who is an AS in this draft. Might be some that are AS quality though. Honestly... I just don't know... Sarr maybe?Based on history, this draft will produce at least 2 or 3 All-Stars. Who among the kids this year has the best likelihood to become an All-Star? For me it’s Reed Sheppard. He is the only one in the draft who has numbers to back him up to be a special player down the road. If I’m Danny, I’ll be aggressive and go after him. We have players who won’t be part of the future and some draft capital that will probably be low picks (low odds to become All-Stars). I wouldn't be afraid of using it. There is always a risk things will not work out the way you thought, but in this case I think this risk is well worth taking. Now, if Danny likes someone else more, go ahead and do the same with that player.

Hard to see Castle as an all star. If you're an all star you either have to score 20+ or be a defensive big who dominates. Castle projects more as a Derrick White all starPretty low probability, but I could see Collier as an all star. Topic and Castle I could see as well.
I don't think this draft is any different. For many players it takes several years after they're drafted before we know if they are AS-worthy. Older players drop out too.I definitely looked at this... I do wonder if this is the draft that breaks the trend. Between the league getting deeper and AS slots staying the same... I think he views himself as the guy in his high school film that was a ball in hand/ lead guard. If his shot comes around then it could open up some things for himHard to see Castle as an all star. Yeah... when I did the deep dive there were a lot of "this guy made an AS team but no one thinks he's an AS". I think the league is just deeper now so the bar is higher. I don't think the draft is different per se, but it might not yield 2-3 AS players. I do think it could yield a whole bunch of high level starters though. I think I would set the AS players betting line at 1.5 for this draft and might take the under.I don't think this draft is any different. Yeah, I've been thinking of Collier, too, and Topic as well although less. It's damn hard to predict. And then there is a player who emerges completely out of the blue.Pretty low probability, but I could see Collier as an all star. Topic and Castle I could see as well.
I see him as a great glue guy but I don't think he will be special.Based on history, this draft will produce at least 2 or 3 All-Stars. Well I just go by the history, but of course you could be right. Let's mark it down and check it after say 8 years. Maybe Edey becomes a Monster and Cy takes the win.Yeah... when I did the deep dive there were a lot of "this guy made an AS team but no one thinks he's an AS".
