They may be, but they arent special game changing type players. Reed is probably a bench player and Castle's development relies on him doing things he hasnt done yet.Sheppard and Castle might very well be the best two players in the draft.

Are you secretly David Locke?Hot Take: If I had to break my small guard rule, I'd take Jared McCain 10/10 times over Dillingham.
Last time you got obsessed with midget guards was Jawun Evans....Oh brother
I feel like if we wanted to trade Sexton, which we shouldn't, there is definately more value out there than that.Sexton seems like a hot commodity right now.
A writer covering the Raptors threw out this package:
Sexton/29/32 for Brown/19/31
100%, I don’t like that deal at all.I feel like if we wanted to trade Sexton, which we shouldn't, there is definately more value out there than that.
I had completely forgot about that until now so thank you lmaoLast time you got obsessed with midget guards was Jawun Evans....
[Givony] went to UConn games 2 hours early to watch Stephon Castle (projected #4 pick) warm up, trying to film 3 or 4 consecutive makes to post on instagram, and how it took 30-40 minutes to even get 2 consecutive makes from Castle — "this is alarming"
It would be hilarious if college ball saw a resurgence because the G League makes it so hard to evaluate prospects. The G-League Ignite prospects likely end up as my undoing as an armchair draft analyst for this draft.
It's difficult to evaluate guys that are playing full game garbage time minutes every game. It's also hard to like guys who allowed games to get out of hand so frequently.
Oh I don't like that at all lol. He did well at the combine but that's troubling.Givony was low on Castle throughout the year, this may be why:

And just a comparison... empty gym I will shoot about 80% from three... that's without a passer. I did not make it in the nba. Open gym even guys that can't shoot should be able to shoot if you know what I mean.Empty gym shooting is what it is. I don't think either says more than his actual shooting in the games....but it does help explain why Givony was low on him for most of the season.
I think the most damning thing about Castle's shooting is that teams more or less guarded him like Ben Simmons.
If he isn't stringing 3-4 in a row together in warmups then I know why he isn't shooting. For me, it's not just the low shooting percentage and the reluctance to take open shots. It's the fact that he wasn't beating guys off the dribble. He wasn't getting to the rim unless someone got him an open lane. He seemed to bully smaller guards in the mid-post, but it was more sizzle than steak. It wasn't creating advantages for his teammates. I thought they were creating advantages for him. He's got measurables, but his athleticism is going to be pretty average for starting NBA wings.
