2024 NBA Draft Reaction Thread

Filipowski really impresses with his maturity.

He’s gonna be a good one.

Justin “We ran to the podium when his pick is up”.

JZ said they ran to the podium to draft Filipowski

crazy I remember some moron, the same moron who doesnt think Tony Jones knows what he is talking about, telling me they would think about a scrub like Tyler Smith.

Probably most impressed with Collier’s interview.

He looked kinda pissed and disillusioned draft night cos of the drop.

Today he was all smiles man, he seems really happy to be in Utah and looking forward to playing.

He’s gonna be a good one.

"Isaiah Collier will wear No. 13 for the @utahjazz. He said he chose that number "because it was available"."
I wore 13 when I was playing as a kid. Nobody wanted that number... I thought it has certain charm and character... I remember the age group above me had a game and one of their players got injured the day of the game... so I'm going to their game to watch with some of my teammates of the lower age group and the coach was like "You know what? You might be playing today" and throws me that light blue 13 jersey. That was my first ever "competitive" game. Played about a quarter of play... and kept that jersey number for the rest of my youth basketball "career". :D

Out of all the rookies and second year players, Collier could be an X Factor for unexpected wins. Even moreso than Key. He may surprise us.

Yeah, he was really leading USC to a ton of wins this past season...
Selfish wings...but he did power his team to a win. He is a former number one recruit selected 29th, the motivation could be sky high. Plus his dribble drive game may work well in the open space of the NBA - a bankable skill. We might get some wins we don't expect from him. Key word is "might"

In the media during and after the draft, he is giving me the Karl Malone aura of being so upset that he wants to crush others. It is weird but he is giving that vibe.
