2024 NBA Mock Draft #3

Look everyone is allowed to be wrong. I just don't think the Cavs can justify throwing a pick away like that. It's a move that gets you fired if he bust out or never helps the Mitchell core win. They need to draft smarter. They can't afford a failed pick.

I get he is very talented, but fit matters and both sides would be harmed by him going 20.
Yes taking a clear top 10 talent in the 20s that needs a redshirt year when you already don’t have a clear rotation spot for a rookie is a fire able offense.

I buy into Topics high end talents but an ACL surgery to start your career when you have major athletic faults on defense is extremely concerning.

After shoring up the front court, the Knicks will pick...

Jaylon Tyson

A prolific scorer who could potentially start for them down the line.

I had Topic at #1 on my board for much of the year, but his late season and pre-draft have been a complete disaster.
At 20 it’s a no brainer. I’d take him and at least field offers on his rights to see if someone wants to give up something solid. I could see Washington doing 26 and another asset or two to grab him.

Man, the Knicks are on a nice track now.

They’re gonna get 2 solid prospects to add to what they already have.

They’re on a nice trajectory by foregoing the Mitchell trade.. lol
