2nd Annual Jazzfanz Jazz Fantasy Draft

With the 14th pick I select..

Memo Okur

After Eaton went I figured I grab the next best center. I didn't want to have to draft Ostertag or Felton Spencer

15th Pick

Bill Bellamy - Had a stellar 14 year career in the NBA and was the NBA first overall draft pick in 1961. Bellamy was named the NBA Rookie of the Year in 1962 after having arguably one of the three greatest rookie seasons in NBA history (along with Wilt Chamberlain and Oscar Robertson). His 31.6 point per game average that season is second all-time for a rookie to Wilt Chamberlain's 37.6, and the 19.0 rebounds per game he averaged that season is third best all-time for a rookie (to Chamberlain and Bill Russell). Bellamy also led the NBA in field goal percentage in his rookie season, and had a 23 point 17 rebound performance in the 1962 NBA All-Star Game.
Bellamy ended his NBA career with 20,941 points and 14,241 rebounds. Bellamy was elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1993.

Bellamy was the starting center on the gold medal-winning American basketball team at the 1960 Summer Olympics.

No coward HERE!

#1: I think you mean Walt Bellamy, rather than Bill Bellamy. https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/b/bellawa01.html
#2: The teams are being judged on how those players played while on the Jazz, not their entire career. That probably should have been clarified before, but I confirmed that with Stern via PM. Walt Bellamy only played one game for the New Orleans Jazz and scored six points. Not a pick you probably want considering that.

Just trying to help...

Yeah calijazz is right. I mean, I could pick Hayward now based completely on his NCAA tournament, but that would kind of defeat the purpose of a Jazz Mock Draft. So PKM, i'd pick again.

13- Honz - Carlos Boozer
14- Prodigy - Memo Okur
15- PKM - OTC
16- Calijazz - OTC at 11 AM MST
17- Killa
18- Dwill_Gr8tness
19- Ben10
20- David Stern
21- Mambo
22- KM32MVP
23- Pastramiking
24- Raspberry Delight

#15 Pick

Lenord 'Truck' Robinson - Greatest rebounder in team history, and only Jazz player to lead the league in that category. Not only could he rebound, but he could score, his 23 points per game average are 5th on the Jazz all-time points per game list.

Better?

Wow. That really backfired on me. I really wanted Truck Robinson, his numbers are incredible. Damnit.

With the 16th pick, I select F Andrei Kirilenko.

With the 17th pick, I am going to pass over a bunch of other players who are higher on the historical Jazz ladder and go with Paul Millsap. The 4-5 combo of Millsap and Eaton is fierce defensively and very solid on the boards. And that's what I want. Grit.

Again, sorry for the lack of a pic but my computer is ****ed up.

DWill_Gr8tness is OTC.

With the 19th pick I'll take Ricky Green (the fastest of them all).

Sorry for the delay. My work schedual just got kinda crazy.

Oh wow. Didn't see that. I missed him at the bottom of the first round and was only looking at the second.

Then I'll Take the Rim rattling, Backboard breaking, Slam dunk naming Darryl Dawkins aka Chocolate Thunder.

Even though his short stint with the Jazz wasn't impressive the guy put up some good #'s in his better years Averaging around 16 PPG, 8 RPG, and an incredible 3 BPG.

Edit: With just finding out that only stats as a Jazz player matter can I change my pick to Spencer Haywood? If not then I'll live with my mistake. I'll leave that up the the Judgement of the Comish.

Only Jazz stats matter.
