What's new

3/25/13 - Jazz vs 76ers - 7:00 PM - ROOT Sports

You are not cheering alone. But right now there is alot of space between the passengers on the bandwagon. Don't worry it will fill in when Corbin starts the Core, and brings the others off the bench, or at draft time, or next fall.

Well I am not giving up my seat when they want to get back on. Jackwagons can hang on to the sides or run after the wagon.

The Jazz will win this one and look good doing it. Hope will return and there will be about 4 new threads tomorrow talking about how good Ty is, and how good Al is, and how we need to keep them together on this team another year...

1. I think the Jazz will win, but I'm not sure so they'll good in the process.
2. All of the threads about Ty being good will be by larryselbows
3. CAKAR will make a thread about how good Al is
4. Nobody's crazy enough to talk about why the team should be kept together, right? Right?

I'm very excited for this game. The Jazz have a real chance of capturing the 11th spot from Portland.

Keys to the game:

- Play Al/Sap as much as possible. Kanter can get his typical 10 minutes, but there's no reason Favors should get more than 10 either. Both Millsap and Jefferson need 38+ minutes today, and they need to be together on the floor for all of those minutes.
- It's a given that Carroll should, and will, get a DNP. But let's hope Burks does as well. Watson should get all back-up PG minutes.
- If the game is close by clutch time, make sure Mo is in the game. Give him the freedom to jack up a shot every time he touches the ball. It doesn't matter if he got 5 defenders on him, or if he's at mid-court. Just. Shoot. The ball.

I have a good feeling about this game, although I'm worried that it might slip through our fingers. But I'm trying to stay positive.

Well, if this is not positivity, I don't know what is.

Philadelphia 76ers are negative in plus minus with every player on the floor and every player on the bench. Not sure I've ever seen that

Well I think the Jazz would normally beat the 76ers even with their bad play as of late, but it is a back to back game which they are not good at, so who knows.

This will be an ugly win that will barely stir a whimper here.

The local media will call it a gutsy win, and say the Jazz "haven't given up".

I just bought two tickets for tonight's game. The problem is I need 4 of them. We'll see what happens. If I end up going I will provide pics.

Well, I was able to get two more tickets. I will post pics.

They will be small pics so whoever can enlarge them for me I will rep after the game.

There Are Only A Two Game Gap Between The Jazz And The Lakers So Needless To Say Tonight Is A Must Win! I Have To Pick Up My Girlfriend's Son At Krav Maga At 8 So I Probably Won't Get Too See Much Of The Game. Usually I Show Up About 30 Minutes Before His Class Ends So I Can Watch And Socialize With Some Of The Parents There. He's Warmed Up To Me And Is A Good Kid So He Doesn't Mind Me Being There. Some Of His Friends Are Embarrassed By There Parents Being There. This One Woman Interjects Every So Often To Find Out If Her Son Is Okay When The Master Is Demonstrating A Move And Her Son Always Snaps Back At Her To Be Quiet. I Had A Nice Hee-Haw With Will In The Car Ride Home Last Week After That Happened.

But The Keys To The Game Tonight Will Be Containing Holliday. Besides Him I Just Don't Have A Good Familiarity With The 76'ers. I Know Spencer Hawes Is A Terrific Young Big Man And Could Pose Problems For The Jazz. A Must Win Home Game Should Be Enough Motivation For The Guys To Come Out Strong. I Hope Corbin Doesn't Mess It Up With Some Vile Substitutions And Leaves The Hot Hand On The Bench For Extended Time. Derrick Favors Has Been In A Slump And We Need Him To Pick It Up In Order To Make A Final Push For The Playoffs. We Should Cut Derrick Some Slack Though Because **** He Can't Be Older Then 22 or 23. I Remember When I Was That Age I Had Bad Days To Where All I Wanted To Do Was Sleep And Not Do Anything Which Ended Up Effecting My Performance At Work. I Didn't Work At As Cut-Throat Of An Environment As The NBA, But My Boss Did Expect A Lot Out Of Me On A Day-To-Day Basis. Looking Back Was It Worth The Money? I Don't Know. I Started To Realize My First Wife Only Liked Me For My Money Then Took Most Of It Because I Didn't Want To Deal With Her One Day Longer During The Divorce So I Just Told My Lawyer To Give Her Whatever She Wanted. My Job Was A Lot Of Stress But It Instilled A Fire In Me To Succeed In My Craft. It's A Fire I Hope Burns Inside Of Favors And One That Can "Ignite" Him On Off Days.
