Bryon Russell played 3 seasons with the Jazz while wearing #34. Prior to the 1996-97 season he switched to #3 so that Chris Morris could wear #34. Morris wore #43 with the Jazz in 1995-96. Rookie Kirk Snyder made his NBA debut with the Jazz on November 3, 2004. Snyder had 3 rebounds the game as well as 3 FGAs, all of which he missed. The 6-3 Milt Palacio signed with the Jazz on September 1, 2005. He played 3 seasons at Colorado State. He scored 3 points in his third game with the Jazz which ended in a 9-point loss to the Suns. That was 3 points more than he scored in his first 2 games combined. It was one of 3 games where Palacio scored exactly 3 points. Roger Braille had some serious 3 action with the Suns, recording 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.

Jason Hart signed with the Jazz on July 13, 2007. In the 2006-07 season with the Kings and Clippers, Hart averaged about 3 FGs (2.8), assists (2.9), and rebounds (2.7) per game. Hart scored exactly 3 points in just one game during his season with the Jazz even though he averaged 3 (2.9) ppg for the season. It was a blowout win against the Sonics. Earl Watson had 3 points and 3 rebounds for the Sonics, while Damien Wilkins and a rookie Kevin Durant each had 3 FGs and 3 rebounds, with Wilkins adding 3 turnovers and Durant adding 3 PFs.

The Jazz drafted 6-3 Eric Maynor with the 20th pick in the 2009 draft. He looked like a solid backup PG in the 26 games he played for the Jazz, averaging 3.1 apg. Unfortunately, the Jazz felt the need to make a couple of salary dump moves that year. On December 22, 2009 the Jazz traded the expiring contract of Matt Harpring (as it was clear he wouldn't play again) along with Maynor to the Thunder for Peter Fehse, who was drafted by the Thunder (then the Sonics) way back in 2002.

Kyle Weaver signed a 10-day contract with the Jazz on March 30, 2011, making the 2010-11 season his 3rd in which he spent time in the NBA. Weaver made 3 3-pointers and committed 3 PFs in his 5-game stint with the Jazz. His best game with the Jazz by far was on April 3, 2011 against Kings. He made all 3 of his 3-pointers with the Jazz in that game, dished out 3 assists, and also grabbed 2 rebounds, scored 19 points, and combined for 3 steals and blocks. He pulled down 3 rebounds in his last (as of now) NBA game.
DeMarre Carroll signed with the Jazz on February 8, 2012, just 3(+1) days after being waived by the Nuggets, one of the 3 teams DeMarre played for prior to the Jazz. Exactly 3 weeks after signing with the Jazz, DeMarre made his Jazz debut on February 29, 2012, seeing 3 minutes of action. Hmm, what else? He scored in double figures 3 times. In the last playoff game against the Spurs, who had 3 wins in the series, DeMarre had 3 FGs and took on a Ronnie Price-like role in sparking the Jazz to almost come back and win. The Jazz may have won if anybody could have made a 3-pointer, but the team went 0-13 and the Spurs won.
Chad Gallagher played 3 minutes for the Jazz in the 1993-94 season. He made all 3 of his FGAs. He had 6 points and 2 personal fouls (6/2 =3). These stats gave him a PER of 66.8 in those 3 minutes.

When the Jazz traded Wilkins, they received three things in return - John Drew, Freeman Williams, and cash.

When he was traded to the Nets, the Jazz received Devin Harris, who would be playing for his 3rd team, two #3 picks - Derrick Favors was drafted #3 in 2010, and a future pick turned out to be the #3 pick used to take Enes Kanter - and $3 million in cash. The position of an additional future pick received in this trade is yet to be determined.
