What's new

#63-Atlanta At Utah--Tuesday 7:00pm

What was the difference from the 1st quarter to the 2nd/3rd? How did they go from up 11 in the first to being out scored 50-30 over the next two quarters?

I'm actually encouraged that they've been starting and finishing pretty well (statistically), but have sucked bad in the middle of the game.

I love the Jazz. Sometimes I wonder if it's really worth it because it can actually be painful. It's been a painful year to be a jazz fan because it's like we've been on the cusp so often. With the occasional fart like tonight. But it takes an actual psychic toll. Like I feel actually depressed when the Jazz lose. And that's sort of funny if you think about it. They're a sports team. #firstworldproblems and all that. Still. Anyway. I'm rambling.

Oh we had another loss I mean game tonight? Interesting. I basically assume every time we play we're going to lose. Gotta be honest, I haven't watched this team in a month or two. And judging from the box scores and posts here, I'm not missing on much.

Pretty obvious this rebuild isn't working. I think trading Hayward this off season should be strongly considered (for the reasons stated by Ben Anderson on KSL and 1320).

This team is going no where quick. The Hayward project has played itself out. Time to think about hood as the future.

Also, lol at how this thread appears on my phone.

It's weird, I used to get excited when the Jazz built big early leads.

Now when it happens, I just wonder if we'll blow it in the 2nd quarter or wait until after halftime. Over the last 9 games we've built a double digit lead or almost a double digit lead in the 1st quarter. We won 2 of them. In the 2 we won, one went to OT, and in the other the Pelicans came back to tie it in the 3rd before the Jazz pulled away.

In other words, we got big early leads in our last 9 games, and we blew all of them.

how bad is tomorrow going to be dear lord

I was very close to buying tickets to tomorrow's game... More for my son to see Steph in person... Thank god I refrained.

Also **** the rally churro

Occasional fart? Didn't we just lose to the Nets and Grizz this past week? Those two teams suck *** big time.

We seem to be farting and losing to terrible teams about every other game now.

This. I blame DL. Aside from Burks, the injury magnet, our bench isn't an NBA roster. Lyles is a maybe, and Snyder plays Booker instead. We also have three third sting point guards, an unproven pg with a career-alerting injury who missed a full year of development. Lindsey sat on his hands and this is the crap Snyder had to work with. Joe Ingles? Booker? Chris Johnson (after Millsap fell through)? Come on. How terrible is it that the Rockets look better right now? Disaster.

This

We had Millsap, Jefferson, and Kanter. All quality pieces a few years ago. Assets that could've been traded for something good. Essentially, we gave all three away.

For what???

Lol I feel the exact same way as you. Feel irrationally depressed after a loss. Why do I let it affect me so much? I gotta learn to let it go. Maybe next year when I start my new job I'll have much less free time to wallow about it. The flipside to that is, boy, it is really ****ing ****ty that the last year I have endless free time to watch basketball is this trash year. Oh well. At least GoT is on soon.

Seeing Steph in person is probably worth it. He's going against Mack so he's guaranteed to have a great game.

We will it's just a rough time a year with work... Tonight's poop sandwich confirmed I should just stay home... He likely is already a closet warriors fan.
