A brush with destiny -- Celtics at Jazz 3/28/2018 7:30 pm MST

Thank you so much for this presentation.

I never liked Ainge after he didn't just sign with the Jazz and make it lifetime contract for peanuts. But come to think of it, this state does not really have a United Order team even if Gail is nice.

Horford and Morris are out.

We need to win by 20 for me to feel good about this now...

No Irving, Hayward, Morris, smart, Horford

It’s almost like someone managing that team pissed off the basketball gods by ruthlessly using and trading players... I also have an unfounded theory that he and Brad had recruiting convos with Hayward pre free agency.

I'm sure Hay and Brad were talking from day one when Hay joined the Jazz. Did Hay sign his second contract with the Jazz before or after Brad came to the Celtics? We underestimated the bond they had.

Am I the only one who thinks Hayward legitimately made a decision in the Summer? And that his decision isn't that absurd?

dude...........

during a broadcast on espn, i heard the first person hayward talked to upon becoming an all star was brad stevens.

he decided long ago.

Yes, you are, and no it was absurd. As he has now missed an entire season, will never regain his (barely All-Star) form, and will probably be traded before 2020.

I don't think that's weird and I definitely am not saying that Stevens isn't a reason in his decision, just that I don't think the decision was made before the Summer.

I realize this is a losing argument here.

thats good for us, but Jaylen brown and Tatum have been damn great for them. This will be a barn burner.

Nah, jazz blow them out

Had to turn Locke off on the drive home....love his analytics and most times his play by play, don't care for the patronizing, smarter than everyone else tone that he gets when he is talking on the radio or pod casts.

Tone aside, Mr. Locke got the message wrong. He claimed Jazz fans were more excited last season than this season, or something like that. Not true Mr. Locke. It is true I was plenty excited last spring after years of missing meaningful basketball, but the entire season was haunted by the spectre of George Hill and Gordon Hayward leaving, it lurked in the corner of all Jazz fans minds and tainted every discussion...even the broadcast crews. True, we were excited and threw all our emotions into the team and into the hopes that the pale cipher had finally grown up and that he might lead us to the 1st round for at least two or three years to come. But it was more hope than love, more relief than excitement, and always more forced than organic.

Today I have much higher expectations for this group, I am more emotionally invested in the players as a group and individually. Gordon hurting us increased the sense of Joy of watching this season.

Wow, Fave has been shooting %81.3 in 4th quarter last 12 games. That's impressive.
