I still don't think it would take too much to trade for Alfarouq Aminu. He's been languishing on Orlando's bench before getting injured. He's got two more years left on his deal after this one though. He'd also have to be healthy, obviously. He's a good defender and rebounder who can guard athletic wings and 4s.

Aminu is only 6'8, which means he is slightly undersized at the 4 -- as Bogdanovic is. He also is not really a good scorer inside, probably due to a combination of lack of size/strenght and post moves. From outside, he has always been inconsistent -- to say the least. From 16 feet to the 3 point line, he has been at 29% for his career (and 33% this season); from beyond the 3 point line, he has shot 33% for his career (and 25% this season) -- per basketball reference. My point is that Aminu is a classic tweener: can't really play the 4 (due lack of size) and can't really play the 3 (due to lack of shooting). He is no solution for whatever problem that any team in the league may have, IMO. I concede, though, that his athleticism is above average and that he is relatively though, especially on the defensive end, but I don't see how plugging him in any Jazz line-up would be a clear upgrade over what the Jazz currently have available.
