Aminu is only 6'8, which means he is slightly undersized at the 4 -- as Bogdanovic is. He also is not really a good scorer inside, probably due to a combination of lack of size/strenght and post moves. From outside, he has always been inconsistent -- to say the least. From 16 feet to the 3 point line, he has been at 29% for his career (and 33% this season); from beyond the 3 point line, he has shot 33% for his career (and 25% this season) -- per basketball reference. My point is that Aminu is a classic tweener: can't really play the 4 (due lack of size) and can't really play the 3 (due to lack of shooting). He is no solution for whatever problem that any team in the league may have, IMO. I concede, though, that his athleticism is above average and that he is relatively though, especially on the defensive end, but I don't see how plugging him in any Jazz line-up would be a clear upgrade over what the Jazz currently have available.
