Adjustments on the Memphis game

Yeah, Ty's shown a willingness these last two seasons to tinker with everyone's minutes/role except for Jefferson. Really strange.

I honestly think it's because of what I said. He thinks Al will take it too hard and his confidence shattered, and that because Al's so nice, he doesn't want to do that to him. He may see the other vets as tougher mentally and the young ones as more easily benchable. But not Al because of his fragile nature.

Al did NOT play so good to warrant that Kanter only got like 10 minutes. Also Watson should NEVER get on the floor ever. The big line-up worked yet again so I suppose that means we won't see it again this year.

Agreed. Ty is so ****ing bi-polar with his subs, although I still don't get the love affair with Foye and Marv.

But Foye has been having a really tough time for quite some time. The last time he has even hit the 50% mark on FGs was way back on 2/4/13...


That was 18 games ago..

Since that mark he's only shooting 31.3% from 3pt (27/86) and 30.5% from the field (47/154).

Burks on the otherhand...
Since the same game (2/14/13)

Is shooting 47.1% from 3 (16/34) and 46.4% from the field (70/151)...


Not a stretch by any means to say burks could contribute just as much in the situation presented.

Awesome. The players cared for once.

Color me unimpressed. After getting steam-rolled in the playoffs last year, they should have come in pissed off in every minute of every game this season, wanting to prove a point. Corbin should have to. As soon as they showed any sign of laziness or apathy, they should have been pulled and ****ing taught a point, that that **** won't stand and that they're on the floor to be ****ing warriors and show the world who the ****ing Utah Jazz are. Instead, Ty's shown he's pretty much a bitch and simply catering to Al because he's afraid Al's feelbadz will be hurt and his confidence shattered if God forbid he sits him a few minutes into the game when he's slow and lazy. He's refused to bring him off the bench or like you said tinker with his minutes.

One game of Ty doing the semi-right thing doesn't make up for the other 65 games where's he pretty much sticking to a ****ty script.

I think the young guys care more than we see. Hayward was chewing Big Al at one point earlier in the year and you can see that Favors gets pissed. Such as the debacle where he sat the whole 4th.

I think some of the vets don't really care.

What game were you guys watching? You had me wondering about my memory (again), so I re-checked the box score. Foye was 1-5 with his only basket being a 3-pointer in the third quarter. Gordon hit the two three's that won the game for us. Foye was a complete non-factor in the game.
